Thats what I don't get and what @Pretty Boy Extremism pointed out. Dude, you're playing fucking Skyrim. Skyrim! A game that's been released on every fucking platform possible multiple times... And you're talking about people who are playing GTAV? At least GTAV has an online mode so you can have a somewhat different experience every time you play. He's playing Skyrim on console with no mods, no multiplayer, and no real new content outside of armor packs and creation shit.

So, this should confirm he just likes hearing himself talk and wants to create multiple avenues to complain on. There is literally no reason he should spend an hour talking about his schedule and what he's playing, have a typed out schedule on Twitter, and have a "Daily Wrap" all saying the same shit every single day.

I know Phil knows how stupid his audience actually is, just look how many times he reminded people about Daylight Saving Time, but it's truly mind-blowing how he's groomed his audience of wheel chairs into thinking that him and they aren't the ones stupid... its the rest of the world.

Youtube started playing the AVGN Season 1 video for me the other day, and I listened to the first maybe 10 minutes for the first time in probably a decade. It really hammered home not only how much DSP copied from AVGN, but how DSP's idea of humour hasn't changed one iota since then. The amount of talking about shit, anus, anal, diarrhea, etc. is ridiculous but I couldn't help but think "this could literally be something DSP would say in an Elden Ring stream today".

I think he missed the fact that the AVGN is a character James plays though. When Phil did it it just came across like a genuine asshole.

You are absolutely right, the guy has been an open wallet for Phil during ER and Phil knows it, get ready for hitting the tips goal right away everyday followed by the I haven't got a tip in 3 hours sad beg almost daily.

Phil is going to have to stall for a few streams and "explore" as if guided to victory. This is going to suck, hope it gives us some salt.

We don't even need games to accentuate phil's contempt for the dream jahb that became a nightmare anymore. Waking up is enough to drop him right back into the most challenging game of all. It might be boring as fuck but I still get a kick out of him subsisting as everything he claims to hate and rail aganst.

This is why Phil is not about to drop the video games entirely, any time soon, if ever. He knows that the more he talks, without a distraction, the worse it gets. There's a reason the pre-stream is long, but not long enough to fill the whole damn day.

Allow me to vent and sperg about his Skyrim playthrough.

Like seriously, holy fuck, for a man thats currently playing his 2nd playthrough and watches his wife play Skyrim every day, hes so fucking disguistingly shit at the game. He invented the most boring way to play the game. He's lvl 43 already btw. He rushes in, standing still pressing power attack, until the enemies come to him (dealing fuckall damage because he hasn't improved his sword), he dies (gets blown up because he hasn't improved his armor), then after he dies, he reloads and spawns 2 summons to do the fighting for him, while he stands behind them, watching them while having his smugass look/mouthbreathing. When not engaged in combat he giga stalls the living shit out of the game, reading eevery single line of dialog, overexplaining shit, inspecting eevery item he gets in the game, while manically turning his head to look at his monito for MUH TIPS. It's honestly one of his worst playthroughs and a disservice to the Elder scrolls franchise.

Best part? He's playing on Adept difficulty.

AVGN is a character, DSP saw that and said “hey, he’s just like me! I can do that too!” He saw AVGN gain popularity($$$) acting like an asshole so Phil tried to imitate that. Except what was supposed to be an act, ended up revealing DSP’s true colors.

DSP always was and forever will be: an asshole.

His complaining about his shitty game play makes me really curious of how skewed he sees reality.

Everything he complains about is either not happening or his doing. I don't mean dropped inputs or lag. I mean things that are clearly not happening like complaining he can't move cause he's stuck on all the buildings as he's clearly moving and there's no buildings or complaining that the game won't let him hit the target as he's clearly standing too far away and/or not aiming at anything that he can hit.

Gee phil, if you're the one controlling the character so you can move further or closer to the thing you're trying to hit and YOU are the one who is out of range....hmm.

Okay no. The break in saga was not us rearranging his office. It was even dumber. It was a pretty obvious LARP thread where we talked about fucking with Phils house when he went on vacation. Part of that was rearranging his office. Some of that was cleaning. Some of it was leaving him strategy guides. So on and so forth.

It gets even stupider, because he used it as justification to leave a house sitter. To which we were all like "fukkin wut" until it turned out he had a cat at the time. Which people had guessed any way. At that point.

On a whim I looked through PPG to find where DSP decided a new era of his streams were occurring. Made sure not to include any that were transcription errors or gameplay dialogue. The results for how far back I went:

The first era: February 2018.

The second era: August 2018.

The third era: September 2020.

The fourth era: December 2020.

The fifth era: December 2021.

This doesn't include things like GamePass, blowing bubbles, Elden Ring, and other bullshit that he claims will completely revitalize his streams.
