I think the main reason the media goes after the Church specifically is an organized effort to demonize the institution. When I don't think the issues are worse than other institutions.

For example, I heard that an underage female student was having a relationship with a teacher in a high school. To protect the expensive schools reputation, the school payed off the family, and simply sent the teacher to another school. Anecdotal, but I'm sure it happens more often than people think.

No, you're right, the church was the least bad in the bunch. I know a fella and the only one who saved him and his mates from a pedo teacher was a priest as he was the only one to take their concerns to heart.

The media has always been shit, so has the government. The idea of yellow journalism isn't something new, and the government has always been pulling shit while fucking over anything it touches. The only difference is it was harder to catch them on their bullshit before because it was easier to control information.

Hate to break it to y’all, but assuming this comes to pass, the pics are unlikely to be as Hustler-esque as hoped.

Remember the Katie Hill pics that were leaked by her ex-husband in conjunction with the revelations of her fucking a younger female staffer? There was a photo of her seated while naked, brushing said staffer’s hair. Another was a pussy shot taken from below as she grinned and smoked from a (rather dirty) bong. The last was a shot of her ass from the back as she was on a chaise lounge on her stomach (taken by her ex for a swinger’s website). Even Pelosi had to put her foot down and kick her out of the House, citing her presence as “untenable.”

Why do I bring all of this up? Because none of the photos showed what we *wanted* to see- ergo, her nips and cunt were censored in every pic they were featured in, and (to the best of my knowledge) no uncensored releases were made.

In summary, we can hope for hardcore leaks when it comes to politicians/celebrities, but they seem to be a rarity. And oftentimes, they tend to get scrubbed off the Internet once the lawyers get involved. A prime example of this was the leaked sexts between Tiger Woods and Lindsey Vonn. It was an extensive album of naked Lindsey shots coupled with a selfie of Tiger showing off his hammercock in front of a mirror with his pants down. Those were effectively scrubbed off the web in less than two days, and I haven’t seen them since.

Fun fact, most of the stories about The California Gold Rush was entirely fabricated through media outlets. They would publish stories about just bending down to pick up a fist sized lump of pure gold and other shit that that really did cause a shitload of people to rush down there to the opposite side of the country hoping to strike it rich. Most of the people reporting on it, didn't even make the trip to california and would stay in far safer adjacent states and would do all their intel gathering at bars and saloons while out mid day drinking and then publish these stories as legit.
