I wish farcry 6 was set in the past so they could have actually had the kid be vaas , they seemed to have that set up to some degree and then went another direction entirely , god forbid they do something interesting
Apparently so far they reveal that Vaas survived Far Cry 3 and Pagan Min gave Ajay a bunch of nukes which he decided to launch at Montana for some reason if anyone cares.
Ok but why? why does Vaas survive? bets on him being the far cry 6 villain/character?
Funny thing is, Far Cry 6 still presents the troon brigade as being completely inept without Dani. Outside of the one mission where you have to hear the shitty trans couple rap I just skipped the cutscenes and tried to pretend I'm fighting for an actual rebellion.
Far cry 6 shows that literally everyone but the farmers are pretty much incompetent tards who can barely hold themselves together let alone their state. So its less that its pozzed and more that its surface level pozzed , but underneath its a bit more b-b-based

Because everyone likes Vaas, I guess. And Far Cry 3 left it just vague enough to make it so he could survive and apparently become a peaceful yet crazy old man living on a beach after everything was said and done.

I honestly think at the end of the day, Ubisoft just doesn't give a fuck. I don't want to give them too much credit, but the game really does go out of it's way to say "None of this shit matters, all that matters is that you have fun going around a country killing people" which honestly feels like the only true "theme" of Far Cry at this point.

ubisoft sure loves to say all the buzzwords, bring awareness too sexisim and LGBTQ but sure as fuck wont acknowledge these issues when it turns out their own workers are getting sexually harassed. only be an "ally" when you can make a profit out of it i suppose.

The tranny shit is the worst part of the game, but also gives us one of the greatest cutscenes for all the wrong reasons where someone gets murdered on live television for intentionally using the wrong pronouns, and despite killing people by the thousands Dani is all like "Woah, what the fuck were you thinking!?"

I wish Far Cry 6 was like Mafia 3 and I could just kill off the trannies and college kids and just let the farmers rule the country.

Synthetic Man on YouTube has a compilation of the worst woke moments but I think by far the worst is near the end when the troon character says "the revolution for Yara may be over but my revolution has just begin, a revolution for trans rights." Then he/sh/xir does a black power salute.

This is an action game about toppling a dictator right?

It's Far Cry 4 all over again where they keep telling you that he's a bad guy but those who want to throw him out are as bad - if not worse - than him. The only difference is in the tone, in FC6 it really feels like the writers want you to like the retards who are at the helm of the revolution.

Oh without question. There were a couple-few missions, such as the drinking with Bicho one, and the one with the party on the small island, that seemed to be an explicit attempt to endear the player to these awful goblin characters. I can think of no other reason for them, the missions were totally pointless otherwise, you did absolutely fuck all in them.

Kind of wonder if they were a late addition, someone at Ubi having said these "people" could use something to raise them in the players eyes, probably in the gentlest possible way to avoid being fired. If it was it was laughable. I was muttering "pull the trigger Bicho PULL IT" when he put the gun to his chin.

Found out by accident - no, really - that you could shoot your "friends" and down them in the final story mission. Someone will revive them and they don't stay down but at least that meant another opportunity to fill them with lead again. Was mildly cathartic

Played a bit at my friend's apartment and yea absolutely. You can tell the writers are overcompensating to apologize for making Joseph Seed accidentally based.

The part where what's her name gives you a lecture about not killing everyone once you topple the government like the original guy tried to do really got my hopes up for a decent ending.

Didn't even give me the fucking option. Well besides the tried and true "fuck 'em" ending that has been consistently the best ending in the past 3 Far Cry games.

Far Cry 2 of the infinitely respawning checkpoints filled by hyper-aggro maniacs who will chase you halfway across the map? That Far Cry 2?
hyper-agrro yes, and yes they respawn but after a certain amount of time and it makes sense they would resupply there checkpoints. Far Cry 2 is designed to make you feel small lol

I never got the complaints around Far Cry 2's "respawns" and checkpoints, while Far Cry 3 somehow is hailed the greatest.

Like, what's the really big difference between respawning checkpoints and randomly spawning groups of enemies? Both games don't have the ability to shoot out of your vehicle, so you need to get out and engage them either way.
