Good call, scariest thing I've seen in a while. Only downside is that horror relies on mystery and imagination to enhance the experience, and I didn't even start the video playing and I already knew what it sounded like. Not as scary when you can guess the creature's attributes.

Bob talks about how rare it is to see period products in movies. You know why? Because bodily functions are generally gross. I can't think of the last movie I saw where someone took a shit either. Unforgiven maybe?
Moviebob's analysis is so worthless that I cannot imagine who unironically watches this. I know he's thrown shade at critics who've said this, but holy cow,, I hadn't seen much of the trailers for this film, but the art fucking blows.

I know hating the beanmouth is as much of a meme as the beanmouth itself, but the reason its so hated is because its not a particularly interesting style, and it also looks cheap and lazy. Combined with the fact that this beanmouth isn't even 2d, that just looks somehow cheaper. This is the lack of effort I'd expect from some no name movie ripping off the latest trends, not Pixar.

I made it through about 50 seconds (which is 45 seconds longer than I can usually stand his voice) to be astonished hearing him apparently mocking the idea of judging a film based on external politics and culture rather than its own merits ... as if he doesn't do this every waking hour with every labored breath.
