HN isn't going to go soft for Peetz just because he's trooning out: they're going to No True Scotsman him out of the Troon club (just like Morgane Oger did to Yaniv) so that they can retain the integrity of their contention that All Troons are Good and True while maintaining Peetz as their boogeyman. And, yes, their logic for distinguishing between Good and True Gaydens (like Shane) and Bad and Fake Troons (like Peetz) will be just as incoherent and internally contradictory as it is when TRAs do it for the purpose of distancing themselves from troons who are in bad odor with the CoMmUniTy.

HN draws its conclusions about its targets and then makes all information that arises about that individual fit those pre-determined conclusions no matter how well that information conforms to them. ETA: I watched part of Jan's Views stream on blackface (and archived it upthread). When I tuned in there were 8 people watching. It was Mrz. Parker and Jan rehashing tired, clunky talking points and musing about why drag is not "womanface." Since it was just following the usual script for this topic and I was pretty sure that the contention that Hussy is performing blackface would be taken as a prima facie (no pun) truism, I didn't bother watching the rest. Jan's brand of substituting unmerited condescension for argument in defense of her stupid premises and conclusions is very Angry Leech and if I wanted that I'd watch the original.

ETA 2: Isn't Jan's Views 64 years old? Do we now need after-retirement programs to keep at-risk geriatrics occupied so they don't get up to bullshit too? Jesus. They're supposed to be able to self-regulate at her age.

  • Negz has been modded in her chat for a while now, but the cooing at him is new. Given how DCGrans is personality wise, I suspect this is more performative than anything else. She and Negz are both desperate for views, so I can see them playing the online sped couple while doing little more than phone sex and sexting in the background. He does his usual degradation of his ex girlfriend at the end. I'm not sure if this is the same one who had a miscarriage that he ignored and then insisted she never told him she miscarried before complaining he had to wake up Slade and drive her to the hospital in the wee hours of the morning for her stomach pains which were totally not a miscarriage. Some context in the dropbox would be nice. Either way, young Slade is in the car with him while father of the year is presenting the model of how to have a dignified, sane breakup. This guy really is Callie and Angry Leech rolled into one.

Anyway, one of the throwaway lines that caught my attention was when he said he welcomed anyone to come talk to him. It's funny because from around the same Live.me era he said he'd give anyone "a bodybag" who showed up to talk to him and that anyone who thought internet drama was deep enough to even think about going IRL belonged in a mental institution:
