Interesting video I watched pointed out one of the major issues with the Russian military. They spend a large amount of their military budget on "Wunderwaffe" projects. Shit like hypersonic missiles, the T-14, the SU-57 and SU-75, and their Satan-2 ICBM program. Instead of pouring their R&D budget into projects they can actually afford to put into service to replace their aging aircraft and tanks, they pour it into projects designed to spook the West, but at the end of day can't actually be fielded in strategically significant numbers. Sure the U.S. also pours a lot into stupid expensive projects, but they can actually afford to field those stupid expensive vehicles fully.
And there's this nuclear powered missile. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/9M730_Burevestnik

> I'm ready, man, check it out. I am the *ultimate* badass! State of the badass art! You do not wanna fuck with me. Check it out! Hey Ripley, don't worry. Me and my squad of ultimate badasses will protect you! Check it out! Independently targeting particle beam phalanx. Vwap! Fry half a city with this puppy. We got tactical smart missiles, phased plasma pulse rifles, RPGs, we got sonic electronic ball breakers! We got nukes, we got knives, sharp sticks...
lol

Lol, we also got millions of unassimilating antithetical brown people, who were imported right from the places we just got done bombing.
To be fair to the Ameroids, that was the EU's fault for letting them in in hopes to keep the welfare state alive for a little longer.

It did not work.

Anschluss of Austria 1938?
austria didn't have a puppet govt installed, it was annexed to germany directly

plus, unlike russians and ukrainians, austrians and germans actually are the exact same people, only reason they were divided by state borders was rivalries between ego tripping noblemen in the 1800s, when habsburgs and hohenzollerns couldn't agree on who would lead united germany so the habsburgs refused to join the hohenzollern led unification in 1871

Apparently I'm not the only person who realized this.

That's what the US does, it stirs shit up. What I do not get is... Why? Collapse of the USSR left all of its former republics in shambles, including Russia. There was a growing pro-EU sentiment. Russian resource-based economy wasn't exactly a threat to the US-dominated globohomo world order. Why?!
Because the US wants to keep Europe a dependent vassal. Europe (especially Germany) + Russia = A Europe (and "Eurasian" if you're a Dugin autist) that could challenge US hegemony not just in Europe, but internationally. We can't have that now can we.

Ironically both the US and Russia benefit in some way from this war. Russia in a way has been set free to abandon Europe, view itself as a separate entity in total from Europe, and pivot towards Asia. And the war itself I think is going to be a wake up call for the Kremlin about allowing corruption as much as it has. If you want to be a big dick in the new "Multipolar World", you can't just let mafia extort your military. The US benefits by causing a generational long wedge between Russia and Europe, culturally and economically.

The real losers other than Ukraine is the rest of Europe. Guess the Krauts are just gonna have to import LNG from the US at a much greater expense, lest they be speaking Russian and praying to Slavic Eastern Christ : ^ )
