Personally I don't have an issue with Zelensky not being in Kiev, it makes a lot of sense from a strategic point of view to not give a clear location where he is just so Russians are second guessing and careful not to accidentally kill him in an artillery strike.

I DO have an issue with Ukraine border patrol preventing men from leaving the country because it's 'their right to stay and fight for Ukraine'. Self preservation is a perfectly human thing to do and I have no problems with anyone wanting to save their skin as long as it doesn't directly result in the death of another person.

A 96-year-old prisoner of the Nazi concentration camps Borys Romanchenko survived
Buchenwald,
Peenemuende,
Dora-Mittelbau and
Bergen-Belsen, but was killed by the Russian missile in his own apartment in Kharkiv.

Man, I thought the Germans were supposed to be efficient. Mother fucker does the grand tour like some death camp Yngwie and survives to die in a border war nearly a century later.

They should probably review some of those death camp experiments, because I can't think of anything else that explains the survivors' ridiculous longevity.

Russia stonk market back open but only for government bonds

The value of this chunk of their market has still dropped almost 10% since open
This is least supprising news, honestly. Good thing that Russian traders are exchanging real rarities!

BTW, I don't know why the bother to keep those in fridge. It's like they could go bad out of it :story:

Nah, the State has every right to marshal and control the resources of the nation to fight a war defending the soil of the nation and that includes the resource of manpower. You don't want to fight well boohoo. Shut up and soldier, soldier. There is no right to run away from going into the fight when your country is invaded, such behavior has been looked at with the ultimate scorn for 6,000 years for a reason

Interesting bit from today's Russian Ministry of Defense briefing:
The use of hypersonic missile to destroy a large fuel depot in the village of KONSTANTINOVKA was required due to its invisibility and invulnerability offered by enemy air and missile defense.
Combat use of "Kinzhal" hypersonic missile confirmed its effectiveness by destroying highly protected special enemy facilities. The strikes against Ukrainian military infrastructure objects by this missile system will be continued in the course of the Special Military Operation.
I would like to point out that the use of hypersonic missile of "Kinzhal" was carried out from a range of more than 1000 kilometers. The flight time of the hypersonic missile was less than 10 minutes.
Significantly, the "Kinzhal" system was used with a conventional warhead. But experts are well aware of the capabilities of this weapon, not only in terms of range, but also in terms of the type of warhead carried.

Okokok wait. That's a Ukraine flag at 3/4 on the government building, I saw lots of blue/yellow there in the mob... was that Ukrainians fucking attacking protesters?! WTF?
It's under Russian control for few weeks now, I guess they're keeping the flags until the referendum.

No clue if it's been posted, but apparently Kel-Tec donated $200k in weapons to Ukraine. Sounds like it was for an existing order in Ukraine that couldn't be filled anymore, so the export paperwork was already dealt with. Sounds like it's Sub 2000s.

I'd rather have a beat up AKM in 7.62x39mm than this ugly-ass unreliable plastic 9mm piece of shit. How about Hi-Point sending them some Yeet Cannons?

Kherson has been occupied by the Russian for quite some time. That's why the Ukrainian artillery strike the airport to destroy the Russian forces gathered, quite a success as well with several destroyed helicopters and vehicles and a dead general

I mean guns are guns, they can just hand them off to police or rear area units. Still, I don't care how reliable it is, I don't want to hop into a warzone with ANY pistol caliber carbine.

Russian shills are shrieking Russian creative fictions. American Shills like myself are allowed to do the same. The US has no dedicated WMD research and development agencies, and the Department of Energy is only involved in electrical generation. Unless you can provide me a source ending .gov well, that is that I am afraid.

While the Sub2000 is better than nothing, the effective range of a 9mm carbine is at most 150 yards on a good day and it won't punch through anything resembling armor, so it will most likely be used by civilians against other civilians.

Awesome, do National Center for Missing & Exploited Children next! 🍕

Since everyone on social media wants to make pop culture hot takes.

From the Witcher 3 games, Russia is Nilfguard, an empire that is willing to throw as many bodies as possible, and Ukraine is Temeria, a land that has competent special forces but has been forced underground since they don't have manpower and resources to waste, and then there is Uncle Sam being Redania, a strong nation that is financing Temerian rebels to fuck with Nilfguard.

Some stuff from Ron Paul as of late.

Also it seems like the Russian MOD has stopped posting videos to their YouTube channel.

Can't help you there I'm afraid. To be fair, I do not have a very high IQ and am a civilian, so my knowledge of all things military is nonexistent (and my knowledge of Rick and Morty is even less so).

Going back on topic, the week starts with Brandon threatening more sanctions and meeting his French, German and English stooges tomorrow, presumably to discuss them. Let's go-o-o.

Imagine being a stooge for Brandon of all people.

You could kind of have some respect for Bush, Obama, Clinton and Trump but the current occupant.

This is probably the best time for the Western Euros to set their own rules but it seems like they just handing over everything to Uncle Sam like always.
