It’s an idiotic use of them. They almost certainly do not have them in high production numbers. They probably cost more than a new fighter jet. And they seem to be lobbing them randomly at targets They are like the old German V1 and V2 terror bombs. It’s less about what it hits and more about who it terrorizes. The entire purpose of those things is to defeat a hardened cutting edge anti missile defense system… which Ukraine does not have.

The US has had functional hypersonic cruise missile systems since the 80’s. They never put them into full production because they were an extremely expensive solution to a cheap problem.

And Putin is falling into that trap here. He is using the hypersonic missiles for political emotional purpose. They @ren’t doing anything that conventional cruise missiles don’t. And he is allowing his rivals on the world stage to collect tons of data on his new Magic missiles, at no risk to themselves. All while using the to no purpose that actually militarily benefits from their use. He’s simply flushing money down a hypersonic toilet In some game of international dick waving. Because if Russia doesn’t look scary and powerful, he’s got nothing.
Just wondering... when you type this do you honestly believe you know what you're talking about vs Putin a former KGB officer who is known to be very strategic and patient, is in contact with other world leaders, has access to way more information than you do, and has acknowledged he isn't fighting Ukraine but an "Empire of Lies."

Do you honestly believe he is "wasting" high value missles they cannot replace randomly? When the only places that have been hit by one are where foreign legions + foreign supplies have been?

"They @ren’t doing anything that conventional cruise missiles don’t. "
They told you they used them for a target that was protected and invisible due to the current AA systems Ukraine was using which they most likely got from NATO.

And you honestly think it was for no other reason besides Putin emotionally masturbating?

Look I don't think Russia is invincible or hasn't made mistakes here but the certainty in the analysis throughout this thread is uhmazing.

Not sure if this counts as news, but Russia is counter-sanctioning Japan. The autistic slapfight over the kawaii Kuril islands is about to become even more retarded, desu.

I'm just going to go on record and say that all this anti-Russian racism is pissing me off. It's the same fucking people who complain about anti-Muslim bias, and think there's Nazis everywhere, and then they do this shit.
Wouldn't this technically be a nationality thing & not a skin color thing?

This whole situation is so fucking bizarre.

The goal is the abolition of property rights for people who are deemed bad, just like vaccine passports were the goal - muh covid being just the excuse to implement it.
The goal is the absolute abolition of property rights. If the government can take something away arbitrarily without due process it is not a right, but a privilege granted by the state.
Once you realize that on paper the only distinction between a "biolab" and a "bio-weaponlab" is the intent about what to do with the created germs they can just say "it wasn't made to be used, just to be studied" and they're free to go, because good luck trying to prove intent. Gotta love the fine print.
Context and what equipment was being used can help with context. For instance it's probably not a good sign if the "biolab" also has a bunch of rockets with the payload suspiciously missing or, better for proving something, actually loaded with the agent.

So long as you don't actually have the physical agent and the delivery together it's pretty much impossible to prove though and everyone involved with this is a complete liar or a maniac.

A little from column "a", a little from column "b". They have nonexistent population but a vast wealth of rare earth metals and provide strategic control over several straights leading to the Okhotsk sea. The common sentiment is that surrendering them to Japan would lead to the US sticking their missile base there before you can say "Omae Wa Mou Shindeiru".
Interesting, I figured maybe fishing rights would be the issue, but I had no idea about the rare earth's. Yeah, you guys would be nuts to give them up from that point alone, unless Japan gives you rights to them or something.

Racism is fine faggot don't like it unplug from the internet, Russians are the niggers of Europe and should be treated as such. When did every internet tough guy turn into such whiney bitches over of all things communist Russia.
You’ve been complaining about “The Reds” and “Communist Russia” ever since you started posting in this thread. Not going to lie mate, it’s pretty fucking weird.

I’m starting to think that everything you know about Russia comes from watching repeats of Rocky IV. Either that or you’re a retarded time traveller from the 80’s.

The average Burgerfat is too God damn stupid to tell the difference between Slavic peoples or Eastern Europeans in general. They've been sending death threats to Armenians as well because smoothbrains.

He's still angry about the death of Apollo Creed, and doesn't understand Rocky's speech at the end of the movie.

Russian shills are shrieking Russian creative fictions. American Shills like myself are allowed to do the same. The US has no dedicated WMD research and development agencies, and the Department of Energy is only involved in electrical generation. Unless you can provide me a source ending .gov well, that is that I am afraid.
I've got some other countries you can shill for too. How about that Democratic People's Republic of Korea? Seems like a legit name.

How much do the Russians actually care about the Kuriles? Is it a strategic location to the government, or just a matter of "fuck it, this is ours now, it stays ours"?
It's a shithole, but owning it gives you the right to say "fuck you" to Japanese people, which is why it's a national treasure that must be protected at all costs.

I think you might wanna fact check your assumptions there pal. Both places hit was Ukrainian bases. The "reddit brigade got murdered XDXD" shit was just rumors spread around on social media. Literally a guy called "spindoctor" on reddit.

Do you really believe the dictator who bombed political dissidents hasn't surrounded himself with useless yes-men?

I DO have an issue with Ukraine border patrol preventing men from leaving the country because it's 'their right to stay and fight for Ukraine'. Self preservation is a perfectly human thing to do and I have no problems with anyone wanting to save their skin as long as it doesn't directly result in the death of another person.
Yeah, I wouldn't grudge anyone hauling ass out of a situation like that unless they got in my way while I was doing the same.

Here's a poor fucker who got chained to his literal and figurative post. I'm sure it did his country lots of good.

The use of hypersonic missile to destroy a large fuel depot in the village of KONSTANTINOVKA was required due to its invisibility and invulnerability offered by enemy air and missile defense.
This may be the first high profile use of actually interesting new tech in this war.

We know for a fact Sky Marshal Zelensky is surrounded by useless yes-men.

Those who aren't useless yes-men - like the one member of the negotiating staff as well as that one outspoken member of what passes for the Ukrainian legislature - get murdered or summarily detained without due process. #freeDUMB #DUHmocracy #Ukraine

Combat use of "Kinzhal" hypersonic missile confirmed its effectiveness by destroying highly protected special enemy facilities. The strikes against Ukrainian military infrastructure objects by this missile system will be continued in the course of the Special Military Operation.
I would like to point out that the use of hypersonic missile of "Kinzhal" was carried out from a range of more than 1000 kilometers. The flight time of the hypersonic missile was less than 10 minutes.
Significantly, the "Kinzhal" system was used with a conventional warhead. But experts are well aware of the capabilities of this weapon, not only in terms of range, but also in terms of the type of warhead carried."

Partial translation of the relevant part from Russias MOD.

Dudes been accurate so far in his postings. Cofirms a second missile use.

That's two. Idk if a third one happened.

Not all of us are getting our news from reddit bro.
