Riddle me this retards, if Ukraine is banning all Ukrainian men from leaving the country because they have to fight for the country does that strip them of civilian status? If a Russian bomb takes out 50 men of fighting age in Kiev, are they still killing civilians?

There seems like a major paradox here of Schroedingers Ukrainian: A person who can pick up a rifle and take shots at Russian troops but then put it down and go back to being an innocent civilian if they get shot at.

DPR/LPR didn't make much sense to me before this war.
Crimea did, because Sevastopol is a warm water port and this allows reinforcement of Syrian Army.

Without going to war directly, they forced Ukraine to concentrate a lot of their "hardened" forces in one area. This created an immediate pocket.
By having Belarus and control of the sea they almost entirely encircled Ukraine to begin with.
Where the fuck is this analysis in western media? Can they admit that they knew this would happen?
Can they admit that Russia waited to settle Syria before turning their sights west?
Is this not practical tactics on display, while the west struggles to provide arms and support AFTER the battle has already started?

not all males in the country will be in combat roles- civilian administrators, firemen, doctors, ect. ukraine doesnt want these people to leave their positions because they are still important to the running of the country, especially in wartime

He's repeatedly and deliberately made civilians, including old people and children, military targets, giving them guns, telling them to shoot every Russian they see, and forbidding the men from leaving the country. Then when civilians inevitably die, he blames Russia and accuses them of war crimes. The dude's no hero, he's a cowardly scumbag using his own people's lives as propaganda fuel.
