Something that the others haven’t mentioned yet is that, prior to Myth taking off in the English-speaking parts of the internet, China was a massive market. To the point that half the CN branch was owned by billibilli, the streaming platform that also had its own exclusive Holo streams and content (Suisei original, Aqua cover of Taking Over, etc). If I’m remembering correctly, half of Fubuki’s donations came from bb.

Yes, Myth broke the stranglehold over foreign interest in Hololive. Yes, westerners hate China with a burning passion (rightfully so, in many cases). And while I can’t say for certain that the attempted sabotage by certain CN talents contributed to the decision to pull out entirely of the region, that would certainly be a third point in favor of burning bridges.

A single schizo with a phone and PC can make 2 posts per minute. Quite a few Global threads (of 1,500 posts) have been derailed by such in the past. Now multiply that by, oh, a few hundred or thousand, and you’ll have the people who wanted kson to get out of Hololive.

On the other hand, who here could have guessed that Gura’s mentor/idol-figure was Marine? Coco might not have meshed well with Myth behind the scenes: according to a few tatsunokos I talked with she genuinely loved the cookie-cutter meme formats picked for Reddit Shitpost Review, whereas Gura hates that type of “humor”. I can’t see a RSR between them turning out well (at least, that’s what I tell myself to cope with never having gotten a Gura/Coco collab I’m not sad you’re sad)

She definitely had a boyfriend and they were at least serious enough to be discussing marriage, but there was a period of time between then and her joining Hololive where she would tweet about hating seeing couples and other assorted seething, so a breakup seems likely.

Doesn't mean people still wouldn't believe and worry about a rrat like that though.

He's a lot less delusional than that other faggot. I've always wondered if he was the real deal or a parody. Every message he writes to the ID girls seems to have: "We *Insert ID fangroup here* " inserted in there somewhere. Hell, his initials are SMP. He feels like a parody that only he's in on.

Oh he's just as delusional. He's just less graphic in his expression. But make no mistake, no one writes out over a dozen of those paragraph replies every single day to three quarters of all the tweets the ID girls send, without being heavily fucking deluded.

Likely wouldn't matter. Concertwise, the ID girls were told to give it their best and they showed up like the freaking superbowl, I have seen very few talents on their level across susantube or twitch. It does put a grin on my face to know there must be hundreds of JP-only gachis not happy about this.

The first part I'm not quite sure about either. My best guess is that she's referring to DD's insecurities about being both an idol and a rapper.
The second part is easier; Calli is commenting on the overall tone of some of DD's songs. For example, the song "take the bait" is the very definition of the word vitriol, featuring a frustrated DD very much pissed at audiences tendencies, her's included, to warp and twist everything content creators do or say. Calli's use of the word "forgiving" is much less literal, though - she's acknowledging that while much of DD's work could be considered angry and cynical, there's also parts of her discography that are very much not that - "fake ass gold" and "You're an Ace, kid" definitely come to mind here. In essence, Calli is saying that while DD can sometimes be harsh, she's not an unreasonable person. Note how the next lines connect:

Despite DD's reasonableness, Calli cannot reach her, sort of implying that she wants to ease the tension between them. She says she's going to "walk towards" DD, implying a non-aggressive approach, but then calls her music "nails on a chalkboard," and then outright says that she's swinging her scythe, which DD responds to by simply talking. This, to me, is the most confusing part of the song - why the sudden aggression from Calli?

Regarding your overall analysis, for the most part, I either agree with or have slightly different interpretations of certain lyrics, but this is the only thing I feel is outright wrong: This is absolutely still Calli singing at this point, primarily indicated by her voice not changing to the deeper, more aggressive version that she uses for DD. As for the lyrics themselves, in second line, she seems to be saying that she wants to plans things out more, but her audience pushes her to produce content faster. Because this is Calli singing this, I assume by accusing DD of pretending she's again referring to DD insecurities and implying that she's not "real" enough as a rapper.

I feel this part of the song has the most "Karen" in it, even if she's still speaking through Calli and DD. Should she devote herself to Calli and become even more successful, or should she be afraid of Calli's success overshadowing DD completely? Should use the success she gained as Calli to fuel more projects as DD, or should she be fearful of doing or saying something as DD that could ruin her career?
Also, note the double meaning in the tile: When one of Karen's personas is "awake", the other becomes a "resting power" - but when spoken aloud (especially when DD says it) it can sound like "rest in power." I'm not quite sure what the meaning is there exactly, besides the obvious play on a familiar phrase that is relevant to Calli.

Moona is going strong singing for 6 hours but the more impressive feature is the ammount of people that has appeared in the chat
