Please do, and burn all your fucking money :story:
Bulgaria and Poland already said that by end of 2022 they won't have another agreement with Gazprom. EU-wide policy changes regarding energetic stability have been passed and even Germany plans to build gazports. Meanwhile Baltic pipe is under construction, providing natural gas from Norway. On the oil, Iran agreed to increase it's production, Saudi Arabia will probably follow soon.

Litteraly most profitable export of Russian Federation is fucked. Nobody will return to Russian energy after they cut supply in winter 2021 without any reason other than intimidation in upcoming invasion.
Meanwhile in the real world, one of Bulgaria's largest electricity companies was bought by a man who has strong connections to Russia ia Lukoil, and funded the deal through shady Russian finance. The ex-PM was also basically installed by a Lukoil man. These people are bought and paid for.

Just to demonstrate how shallow the redditors are here, their opinion on Zenelsky as president one year ago, which includes such posts as:
1)Short answer is no. Of course it's better to have him instead of some pro-Russian candidates, but he isn't perfect at all! A lot of lies, unfair court cases, populism, and so on.
2)Nope. He’s a perfect product of information era, but empty. Just a bubble.
3)Even if you forget about the bad things he done or good things he didn't do, he's simply too incompetent and oftenly acts infantile
4)Terrible. Worse was only a traitor Yanukovych.
And then the media made him the next big thing and the dick-sucking competition started.
Archive. Because they WILL delete it.

Can't confirm but it is from a pro-Russian account.

Yep, totally not planning to occupy and annex the country guys. Because for some fucking reason some on this thread still believe that Putin's stated goals aren't just a smokescreen.

Side note: I can understand using the term "Liberated" when referring to places in Donbass, but I really can't stand people using that term to refer to places like Kherson.
Reminds me of a joke.

George Soros, Bill Gates, and Klaus Schwab invented a computer that can predict the future. They ask it: "Computer, can you describe how society will look in 50 years from now?"
Computer: "It will be a highly advanced society. There will be no international borders. People of all races and religions will peacefully coexist with their neighbors. People will be treated equally and all parts of the world have access to the same level of medicine, goods, and education. Space travel will be commonplace and affordable. "
They: "Well that sounds great. Just out of curiosity, how much will a can of Pepsi cost in that enlightened era?"
Computer: "5 rubles."

I don't remember anyone saying he wasn't going to occupy and annex some of the country, mainly the eastern and central parts. I still don't think they will occupy the west, will be too costly.

OH FUCKING NOES! The Donbas and Lugansk might use rubles!

TIME TO FUCKING GLASS THE PLANET IN WORLD WAR III

No shit Sherlock. That’s why we’ve been warning you idiots about not escalating this into a war in the first place. But no. Zelensky and his Nazi pals had to jerk each other off, bragging about joining NATO and getting nuclear weapons stationed in country while leaching off those sweet Oligarch and NGO dollars.
What did the Ukrainians think would happen? Oh we’ll just outlaw the Russian language and bomb Russian civilians in the breakaway Republics and Putin would just sit around holding a limp cock?
These imbeciles really believed it.
Well they fucked around and found out. And they’re trying to drag the US into their mess.
FUCK THAT.
Russia can have everything East of the Dnieper and I could give a tinkers damn.
To quote General Rundstedt,
Make Peace You Fools!

Probably Zelenskyy is a little less based than that. And Manuel Noreiga should have known that muscling into CIA import export business and threatening to spill secrets is unhealthy. Zelenskyy seems perhaps a bit more discreet, and maybe it could remind him that not getting on with Uncle Sam, which three of them really did for a bit, before falling out, is a how to be put into a box.

Certainly not true now, but assuming this continues for another 4 weeks or so, the real numbers will probably be in the ballpark of that.
It's also not being forgotten that Ukrainian losses are likely just as high, if not higher. But you always have the luxury of being able to stomach larger losses in a defensive war.

Ok so we've gone from 10 more days, to two more weeks, to 3 days, to now you're telling me anywhere from 3 weeks to 6 weeks. And it's contingent on whether or not Russia adjusts its actions. You guys are retarded. Im keeping track of all these countdowns though.

3 more days!

Then 2 more days!

Then 20 more days!

Then 43 more days!
Ukraine is the Corona of wars. Nobody we give a shit about dies but it's somehow our problem.

Can't have Russian civilians in a country that is not Russia
You mean the armed separatist groups that were armed in by the Russian government
Seriously they just somehow got their hands on a bunch of Russian equipment and money

And I one hundred percent support outlawing foreign languages being spoken in your country if you live in a country you should speak the language of a country if you don't want to speak Ukrainian in Ukraine you should get the f*** out of Ukraine

I wonder to what degree foreign components are used. Soviet tanks like the T-64 might have their weaknesses, but the parts were sourced in the USSR or at worst the Comecon trade bloc. Foreign parts can make good business sense, but with arms manufacture there has to be strategic concerns, even if it costs money. Trade connections can be broken. I wonder if this will result in more oldies or oddities like the T-80U UM2 dragged out of storage. Perhaps a Russian museum's King Tiger could fight once again.

The Romans believed that if a man in politics was bribed he should follow the briber's intentions, but there's no honor among thieves. People like them will sell out everyone but themselves, their families and their closest friends (and that might be expecting too much) if it profits them.

Realistically if a regime change is forced in Russia due to the actions of Putin can the bloodline be restored? Theoretically the British Crown could make a reasonable claim to the territory of Russia as reparations for the sins of the Bolsheviks.

Are any descendants of Jefferson Davis alive currently? Make them the Tsar. Russia has tried being a Monarchy, Communist, Capitalist, and an Oligarchy. They haven't tried being Confederate Monarchists, why not give it a chance? They already have a flag that's about 80% done.

The best case scenario is Putins demands + the removal of the current government? Ok, the. Why hasn't Zelensky accepted this yet?

Then I guess Putin is huffing copium since the Russian demands have been known since the beginning of this. They were known to Zelensky before the invasion occurred.
Russia's official demands are 1. No NATO, 2. Recognize DPR, LPR, and Crimea as Russia. 3. Demilitarization and 4. Denazification (which can mean anything Putin wants it to).

So nothing annexing or puppeting regions like Kherson (at least publicly)
