When he was what is essentially a PNGTuber.
So that means Jaiden Animation is the most subbed Vtuber of all time with her 10 mil subs.
It doesn't work that way. PNGtubers are given leeway in a sense that it's not supposed to be their main model for 6 YEARS.

This is why people don't consider PNGtubers to be Vtubers, or why they only allow it in the first 6 months-1 year of their life, because it's highly implied that the PNG is only supposed to be temporary.

Heck, Nux doesn't even consider himself to be a Vtuber until Hololive boom happened.

I once had an employee at the company I work for spread a false rumor that I was a host club fanatic. It was really annoying, and at first I was told that they were going to fire her after they admitted that they was spreading false information, but when I went to the office, they were there. I sometimes wonder what that was all about.

By the way, I never once mentioned anything about host clubs, (and was spoken to all sorts of unrelated places) (don't know what the fuck this means). I think this is an amazing problem.

To clarify Nux got his model as a meme to do like a one off video but then he found he had a lot of fun with it so he kept it

Aren't vtubers supposed to be a new OC/persona built from the ground up? Maybe with a chuunibyou backstory too? It's supposed to be a seperate thing from what the IRL "you" were doing, hence "virtual". Or else those thousands of weebtubers who have an anime avatar pop in and wiggle in their vids all count as vtubers. Holy fucking GAIJIN GOOMBAH too.

then there KSON where she actually uses vtuber model and lore but basically just pulls her 3D sometimes and talks casually, which makes it even more confusing.

maybe the real vtubers was the friends we made along the way
I've just noticed not-Matsuri unfollowed not-Rushia on twitter btw
i would do the same if someone just rant spam on TL especially it included your colleague. what the hell happened to Rushia, losing tantrum all of sudden?

I think the appeal of vtubers other than roleplaying a character is movement. You see an anime character move like a IRL person, which is thanks to the software tracking the face and, in some cases, the body. That is what makes it virtual, the feeling that an anime character exists and can react to the enviroment on the other side of the screen.

Oh yeah that explains it, that's why everybody's end goal is to go 3D.

Watching a smaller indie that uses a 3d model talk about the Cosplay Costumes they had in the convention. Started watching her because she did a concert watch along. She seems to know her shit around cosplay. Something to listen to while I try to make a Pippa clip.

She likes chiptune, BASED.
Also her voice isn't instantly irritating like most ENindies

As for the "what even qualifies as a vtuber" discussion going on, there isn't really a defined set of rules to it, most people just say "well you use an avatar and make content" ignoring the fact that such a definition is so fucking useless and loose, is pewdiepie the biggest vtuber? he used an avatar, it just doesn't give anyone any idea of what vtubing entails or the complexities of this retarded subculture and all of the wierd rules invented by kizuna and then upheld and expanded by the corpos and replicated by the indies many of which come from idol culture, like the way we almost universally use "graduation" to mean retirement.

Tbh vtubing might as well be a fucking gimmick that any grifter can pick up and try to leech off the popularity of the medium, and since many people are obsessed with making sure the fanbase is inclusive and are so dedicated to whiteknighting any fag who decides they wanna become virtual and push their way into the community the term vtuber might as well mean nothing at all. Just look at nyanners and how she wormed her way into vtubing like a maggot on fresh meat.

Excuse my sperging

She should stop vagueposting and give us the juiciest rrats.

Well that was the sign I was waiting for. Still interesting though, what she did was bad enough for Cover to slaughter one of their biggest cash cows but not bad enough for Kson to shun her.
That makes me think it probably didn't negatively impact other idols and it maybe just Japanese bureaucracy doing it's thing. We'll probably never know unless someone goes for scorched earth menhera about it.

While I know people are giving Rushia a bit of a hard time for still being upset, but the biggest Hololive event did just happen a few days ago, something she was clearly practiced for and getting excited about. I can fully understand her relapsing a bit in terms of mood.

And she seems to still get along okay with several members, current and former, so I think once she gets the new model and some time has past, she’ll be able to put more of it behind her.

What she released was probably just business stuff than in this case which yeah is still a reason to sack her. On the other end of the spectrum though it also shows that Mikeneko isn't exactly well in the head and "drama" that happened in Hololive was insignificant to the point that Kson is basically just telling her to stop and move on to keep her saying anything stupid.

If anything behind the scenes was serious than Kson would probably have elaborated with her and spilled some information but no she basically got her to shut up by offering to go out to eat.
