health speculation is fun and all but lets be honest it's more than likely, what SPhobos said. Recently he's been literally pass out drunk at 7pm his time, he has been struggling to stay awake during the late stream. Probably signs off, gets his quart of gin and passes out where ever. Khet is too, well, Khet to notice or care or do anything.

It's like his back problem that was so bad he couldn't lift his arm, except when he did flailing about like the spaz he is and that magically went away.

Now, will he keep hamming this up and when called out on his bullshit by people in chat or when he gets to the point where his exaggerations are something serious, suddenly, POOF everything is fine like the $1000 shower repair or Jasper's UTI?

Do we have a list somewhere of all the games Phil seems to actually enjoy? I know it's going to be short, but it would help to put his other playthroughs into perspective.

The more relevant point is that whatever it is, Phil is going to ignore it, which is never a good idea. And I do believe that he has numbness, because a back injury that clearly doesn't exist is a very different thing. It's meant to excuse him from stuff, and he can make up whatever explanation he wants. Numbness can indicate any number of things, and he's not about to research it in preparation for whatever future lie.

Plus, Phil does not always know when he's revealing something about himself that he probably shouldn't. That's why we have that wonderful clip of him going "WTF..." at the sight of Leanna on a bed with her ass in the air. He's a liar, but he's incompetent too.

I hope Phil doesn't die yet. He certainly deserves his comeuppance but I'd be lying if I said the hijinks surrounding him for the past decade hadn't been stupendously entertaining to see unfold.

Also a stroke would be a pretty lame end to someone who's somehow managed to evade everything but videogame attacks.

Holy shit, I just caught the end of the Elden Ring stream on Piece's stream.
Phil read out OMM's tip at the very end of the stream. He said the 'emails were delayed' so he didn't see the tip earlier, but that 'OMM tips every day'. Phil was at $200 early in the stream and so he didn't check if OMM tipped? The emails were just conveniently delayed on a day where the goal was hit?
But the thing is that Phil previously said that OMM comes by and checks if the goal has been hit and if it hasn't he'll tip.

So this confirms that OMM tips without checking the goal, and likely tips every day regardless. And Phil has been lying about it and omitting his tips when the goal has been hit on other occasions.
Basically, it looks again like we've been right the whole time and that Phil has been fucking with his audience and these tips for over a year now, with the truth only emerging as Phil loses track of what lies he has previously told.

How much does this lend credence to the theory that, either Phil himself, or possibly his wife Khet, *thumbs toward the wheelchair chat lurkers*, is "sweetening the pot" so to speak with the digital equivalent of the street musician dropping some funds into their own open instrument case to bait others to toss more on top? If it's not Jeff Anderson, that's my second most likely identity of one minute man's tithes but your conjectures seem based on a wider base of goutosphere knowledge than mine do, so I wonder how that idea jibes with the available data you know about this.

I remember when this came out and he didn't say a word about it. A WORD. This is a dude that talks about every time something positive is said about him, but not this. This disrupts his "IM BROKE" narrative. Look at this... almost every body has double, triple, quadruple more subs than him and he's still at the top.

If you make a full living in the most expensive part of the country were you can DoorDash everything and buy every console and video game that comes out... you're not a small fish.

Not mentioning this was because he knew just how much of that "contribution per viewer" ratio was credit card fraud due to fake subs set up by the usual card frauder. Never point to yourself when there's signs of a crime being committed all around your pigpen is one of the few smart things he did on twitch before he quit like a crying bitch over unfair treatment, which he brought on himself by using hateful slurs.

I'm checking my YT feed this morning and I noticed this video, I took a peak and...my god. The DSP-bots are multiplying, upgrading and now come in different shades.

I have no idea who anyone is in this crap except RTU but LTG isn't the blackDSP, QuantiumTV is. It mostly fascinated me how when QTV is talking he has the same head movements and facial expressions DSP has when he's ranting, he swapped looking at himself in OBS for abusing fair use cause someone said he was wrong.

Forgive me, but I don't understand where this thought of "Phil tipping himself" comes from. His psychological profile just doesn't suggest that's possible. If he was willing to do that, why does he bitch when one whale is carrying the streams and the paypigs it happen? With his revealing that OMM emails him regularly, that tells us what Phil was doing during his "water breaks", that we thought were him emailing someone else. There was never an arrangement, Phil was just being weird about checking his email on camera, and now he's just done with that shit. OMM is doing this on his own, has been for years, and Phil is just taking advantage of it.

When weighed as more versus less likely in that framing of the "continual support" up against the current clubhouse leader of it being Jeff Anderson just really, really liking the pet cat and not giving a fuck about what his dead wife would think of whaling for a pigroach, it's closer of a scale ballance between them than some would admit I imagine.

If anything, the fact that he added the amount tipped by 1MM at the very end of the stream when the goal was already hit actually decreases the likelihood that he does this, as he would no longer have anything to gain.

If he praised 9 I guarantee it’s because it was marketed (accurately) as a return-to-form to the old school gameplay, set character classes, D&D-inspired setting, and ATB system. It was the first game to return to having four characters in a battle at one time after two games being limited to only three, and ability customization was once again class-limited (to an extent), so players knew “okay, if I want to use black magic I have to bring Vivi”.

These qualities aren’t bad things, necessarily, just to say that 9 was specifically designed to remind players of older Final Fantasies, specifically 1 and 4 (set party jobs, a villain named Garland, a storyline revolving around crystals, less realistic character designs, etc).

Super late on this, but while I haven't seen this playthrough (and generally don't watch much LP stuff at all) but 100% vouch for ChristopherOdd, seems like a super nice dude who actually enjoys playing games and actually cares about his stuff being entertaining. Basically the opposite of DSP.

But I absolutely love how, based on things DSP said during early lockdown, Kat basically cucks DSP via YouTube with this dude. Kat sitting at her desk staring at her tiny assed monitor watching this dudes stuff as DSP sits 4 feet behind her also watching. He also said how "it's funny" how he and this YouTuber do "basically the exact same thing". DSP is so God damned blind to what his actual content is it's hilarious.

This is the problem with trying to form a list of games Elden Granny actually likes, it seems, because it's often he has an ulterior motive, even if he doesn't know he does. Like, do we put Bugsnax on that list? Or leave it off because it was a piss-easy game he didn't have to exert himself much to pay attention to? Does FF9 count, or not, because of the above?

I mean, I can't be the only one noticing a pattern with this shit. Though I may stand alone in thinking it matters when forming such a list. Maybe we can instead call it "Games DSP Doesn't Get Pissed At".

I'm probably late to this and shoutout to @Hate Army Watch for this clip but Phil's medical rants are fucking ridiculous. He makes it sound like every doctor, nurse, receptionist, the fucking janitor... everyone in the medical field is incompetent.

First of all, if the doctor was actually like he's describing about his back (which I HIGHLY doubt) why the fuck did he go to the same doctor 3 times if they didn't believe him? Doctors can get their license taken away for that type of shit. So I call bullshit on that one. Then can't even fully admit he was (and still is btw) fat at one point. He goes on about begging to get help.... which... I don't have to even tell you guys the massive irony in that. Then concludes with him talking to a doctor and the doctor asked him what are the symptoms and what HE thought his illness was with the doctor agreeing with him in the end. You know how big of a narcissist you have to be to even say such a thing? Doctor goes to school for years but Phil and his WebMD search trumps all of that.
