I am humbled to admit that I didn't know drone technology existed before the 1990s.

A quick Wikipedia search has taught me today that primitive, remote-controlled UAV prototypes existed as early as WW1.

One of the US's experimental superweapons in the 50-60's was a large, supersonic, nuclear ramjet drone with unlimited range, it would drop nukes on it's targets until it ran out, then used it's speed and low flybys to damage/poison cities with it's sonic boom and exhaust for months until it finally broke down, contaminating wherever it finally crashed.

It's also the closest thing to a real life Metal Gear that I know of.

assuming he actually even is in Ukraine atm, half of the whole point of being a sniper, I always thought, was remain undetected as long as possible (strategic sense as well as tactical), which pretty much immediately disqualifies him from being 'the best'. far too busy shilling his book and claiming it instead, I suppose.
