Supposedly it was the same ship that was shelling the brave Ukrainian soldiers on Snake Island who may or may not have died defiantly to a man, been taken prisoner, or noped the fuck out. The ship later went to shell the coast near Odessa and apparently got nailed by Ukrainian Rocket Artilery or some form of missile. The Ukrainians say it burned and sunk. Th3 Russian’s say it made it back to port with some damage. But nobodies put up any pictures of it in port damaged. So you be the Judge of who’s Bullshit is stronger.

If the Ukranian government simply negotiated with the people of the Donbass and Crimea (as Zelensky ran on in a campaign promise) "none of this killing and dying would happen."

The complexities of this conflict have been explained numerous times by realists throughout this thread. Reductionism, obstinance, moral grandstanding, and the inability to understand outside perspectives are exactly the things that make military conflict inevitable.

Posting pictures of it in port, damaged, would be a pretty retarded thing for the Ruskies to do. Poor opsec is what's getting tonnes of hohols and redditors killed.

That said: There's no way to know who's lying here; We're unlikely to find out the status of this ship until either: It's seen in action again after repairs, or after the end of the war (Where either the Vodka Niggers admit its at the bottom of the sea, or it's shown still being repaired in port.)

Gonna TLDR this:
Yes they don't work against modern anti-tank projectiles, but against older stuff, like an RPG shot from a balcony, which are plentiful in Ukraine, it does the trick.
