To expand on what I said earlier, I will refer to a few examples.
In his debates with socialists, when socialists bring up that a lot of socialist countries have poor economies due to sanctions and not their policies, destiny just retorts "is your system so frail that it buckles to outside pressure?" without considering that the reason they brought it up in the first place was to justify why socialism fails, and is also very disingenuous as all economic systems will get fucked if they experience a major shock (just look at the last 2 years!).
In his latest debate with the WN guy, he has some horrible responses. When the WN guy argued that whites are not disproportionally responsible for slavery and that the anti-slavery movement was promoted by Europeans, destiny asked about whether whites do what they can today to stop slavery. As if the EU or the USA is just going to stick its dick into a bunch of 3rd-world beehives and forcibly liberate 20+ million slaves. Even worse, it wouldn't be beyond them considering the shit they did to Gaddafi and the mess they left in Iraq.
He is willing to argue for the edgy/controversial shit (incest, child porn legalization, electoral college), which I do give him props for. However, I wouldn't say any of this is truly revolutionary or censored. By truly revolutionary, I mean something that opposes the narrative of the swamp (media, academia, and govt). Opinions that could qualify for this include race realism, global warming skepticism, covid skepticism, vaccine skepticism, criticism of the Afghanistan pullout, trans-skepticism, a conspiracy theory, tech censorship, thinking having a 3 trillion deficit causes inflation etc.. I understand siding with the mainstream narrative (I side with it on AGW/fossil fuels and conspiracy theories) but the fact this guy just goes in line with whatever the funny hat people think about something is really telling.
His vaccine mandate take is especially terribad. Imagine wanting to force people to take a vaccine that:
-Doesn't stop spread
-Doesn't stop infection
-Didn't contribute to reducing excess deaths https://www.researchgate.net/public...n_and_age-stratified_all-cause_mortality_risk
-Most schizos wouldn't want to take it even if they couldn't work or travel
I literally can't sympathize with it. As in, I am incapable of understanding on an emotional level why he thinks that. I can understand why people deny race, why people support marxism, why people support anarchism, why people hate gays, why people support slavery, but not why people support vaccine mandates. The only valid reason I can think of is to try to do something that massively impacts your political enemies out of some sort of machiavellian impulse.
TL;DR - Destiny is intellectually lazy based on the shitty and disingenuous arguments he uses and his inability to go against the mainstream narratives on any issue besides Rittenhouse (which is basically just a mini-LSAT).
