They should have accepted the referendum's has legal, or atleast negotiated to have a UN observed referendum. The majority of Ukraine voted for neutrality. This was the "voice of the people". A minority faction violently overthrew the government. They should have accepted that the East and Crimea would then separate, especially considering they are the weaker party. States have been formed over much lesser justifications. They had no qualms about "bombing teh children" when it was they who had to send a military into civillian areas to achieve THEIR strategic objectives.

The encirclement is rather poor in spots so Azov has been poking holes in the weakest links of the Russian lines as they get boxed in and recovers gear and ammunition from what they kill. they recently poked another hole in the Russian lines and ganked a small convoy behind the battle line and recovered a host of war material. considering they also entrenched Mariupol before the war even started, they have probably been squirreling away caches all over the area. Heres an example I posted earlier.
