By podcasts I meant actual audio-centric podcasts which will auto-download to my phone through a podcast app and are listenable while offline, not YouTube video shows that exist only on YouTube and don't get pushed to anyone's devices. I know that a lot of people use the word to refer to the latter too nowadays, but we have to affix true meanings to words at some point.
I'm the sort that has always viewed 4chan as where pretty much anything goes on there, for better or worse. The Farms felt not less free, rather more measured on what goes on in this thread, and you don't get thirst-posting as much (maybe you see more simping vs anti here too, maybe too much simp sometimes). It can be more digestible unless something like a concert or big event happens, even if we miss out on some info or get it secondhand.
