I don't particularly hate the west. Just a few key figures who make the west dumb and gay.

To elaborate, this is not a war between Ukraine and Russia, but a (semi-proxy) war between NATO and Russia using Ukraine as the battleground. Seeing that a prominent NATO member has already managed to run out of weapons to sustain their side in this conflict, you have to admit it's pretty funny.

To elaborate, this is not a war between Ukraine and Russia, but a (semi-proxy) war between NATO and Russia using Ukraine as the battleground. Seeing that a prominent NATO member has already managed to run out of weapons to sustain their side in this conflict, you have to admit it's pretty funny.

It's not like Uncle Sam can't send them fresh batches in a matter of days.

One more thing concerning that Selective Service tweet from earlier, I stumbled across an article talking about a report from the Pentagon from a few years ago that around 75% of Zoomers are ineligible for military service due to things like lack of education, obesity, legal, and physical and mental health problems. They can and probably will. Still, that just furthers the divide between the US/UK/Poland/Baltics and the rest of the NATO nations, who aren't particularly excited to be disarmed, bare-assed, and reliant on America for protection.

I will be interested to see what the Russians do in terms of military gear design post war. Will they keep upgrading and refining the same stuff, or will the finally get some new clean sheet designs in production?

Every time they try something new it goes pretty much nowhere. Russian and Soviet design doctrine for many systems has always been evolutionary, not revolutionary. The T-14 was the most revolutionary design they’ve had in a long time and it’s absolute trash. Warship wise? They don’t have the budget. Hell, they don’t have the budget or domestic industry to do a lot as is. The T-90 is just a gussied up T-72, the new flanker variants are interesting but stuck with the fact it’s still a Flanker, and the Su-57 is vaporware.

Honestly, the Russian military isn’t going to improve without massive purges and that is unlikely to happen any time soon.

And then there's that one just doing circles with probably a broken rudder, sad little ship.

I wonder if Russia will try to tow it, or Ukraine will follow up with more strike to finish it off. The rocket batteries probably gtfo and are hiding from a retaliatory strike right now.

That's for volunteers. If it gets to the point that a draft is put in place, a shitload of those disqualified will suddenly find themselves marked as fit to serve.
