Lol at “our racket” as if you have anything to do with it. You’re an unpaid cheerleader for corrupt fags who are mismanaging their empire into the dustbin of history and probably dooming your descendants to a shitty life.

It’s easy to jerk off to power fantasies about being part of the American empire crushing the Ruskies, when you actually look at what it means in the the real world it’s ugly, brutal, and pointless.
Being part of the American empire means you have to let homosexual crossdressers groom your kids, the Disney corporation has plenary authority to replace anything in your local culture that doesn't make it money, and your daughters need to be sterilized until age thirty. On the plus side, you won't be hungry.

Not attacking your position, just curious. Let's for one moment imagine the future where the Avengers do arrive in Ukraine, the ghost of Kyiv stops the Russian advance and Zelensky flaunts into Kremlin with all the panche of V from "V for Vendetta" and forces Putin to resign at the end of a shiny rapier pointed straight at his throat.

What then? What reparations will the victors ask for and what will they do to evoke change?
Get the Russians to stop being so anti white

You’re talking about Russia, right?

Keyword almost, the nuclear powered missile, the T-14 (and all the IFV and APC variants based off it's chassis), the SU-57. There's a reason Russia is using modernized variants of shit from the early 90s and late 80s.
Speaking of Russian tanks, I'm disappointed the Russians never made the T-100 Ogre from Tom Clancy's Tom Clancy's EndWar by Tom Clancy.

Real life is not a role playing game. This is some reddit shit.
Untrained people in a fight tend to be a liability for themselves and everyone around them.
anyone who can shoot a gun is fit do do basic shit like sitting in a bunker to watch a nearby road
teaching someone how to aim and shoot an RPG so he can go lone wolf and ambush a supply truck isn't rocket science either

A new video from Chechens near Mariupol.
They show a routine: they clean up the city, seize an ammunition depot, force the prisoner to apologize to Ramzan Akhmatovich.

The chechens clearly have the "cool" factor going for them. They definitely look the most comfortable in the field. That jihad spirit really does wonders for morale.
Also, that dude with the black uniform doesn't give a shit about camo, what a chad.

Slovakian Parliament.
Upside down flag. Failure to virtue signal.

The guy is literally blind if he is serious, which I don't think he is.

Rus would actually start getting financial aid from the west
Bruh.

I would desire for an organic regime change spearheaded by the Russian people as opposed to following mandates from the west. If Russians manage this then it's almost a given that sanctions could be gradually revoked and the Rus would actually start getting financial aid from the west so as to ensure that Russia's more amicable, predictable and compatible state endures. It would be a long process, arduous even, but at least it would give tens of millions a chance for a better life as opposed to being stuck in an isolated pariah state that has fucked them over for generations. And yeah, this may prove to be idealistic, but I refuse to be entirely cynical.

Interesting, although not that big of a happening.

Snake Island sailors are freed as Ukraine and Russia conduct a prisoner exchange

article here
" Russia and Ukraine exchanged 10 prisoners of war each on Thursday in what Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk called the first full-fledged swap of the month-old conflict.
The exchange also freed 19 Ukrainian civilian sailors who were captured as their ship tried to take Ukrainian troops off of Snake Island in late February.
Ukraine released 11 Russian civilian sailors as part of the deal, Vereshchuk said as she announced the transfer. The civilians had been rescued from a ship that sank near Odesa, she said."

Here's a comment from an ukranian guy: "I doubt those snake island POWs were very happy. They already said that our government betrayed them, leaving them to die and proclaiming them dead. One of them also refused to get his "hero of Ukraine" status, saying it's useless from the country that betrayed them."

Do you really need a reminder what a few hypersonic missiles will do to a carrier group?

Probably nothing, since Aegis has already demonstrated the ability to track and shoot down ICBMs. Which also travel at thousands of miles per hour.

Once effective close-in anti-missile systems were developed in the 80s, the missile threat to ships has been too many missiles being fired so some get through. Not singular or a small number of missiles.

So if you had said a few dozen (or couple hundred regular slower missiles from a massed bomber attack like in Red Storm Rising), that would be an issue, but "a few" is just RussiaChina shill fantasy time.

Genuine question: Why do people in western countries think they're the good guys?
I'm an American, and I don't see any of the wars we've started as good for the countries we've fought.
Are we really less corrupt than countries with dictators, solely because there's a different president every 4 to 8 years?
Do we really have an "open society" and "freedom" with a "liberal democracy"?
Cause in my neck of the woods it all seems to be pre-programmed by oligarchs just as much as any of the countries we are at odds with.

It's baffling to me that people criticize other countries for their corruption while ignoring their own. As if this is a "lesser of two evils" situation, and being "lesser evil" is a virtue.
Crazy times, as always.

Anything would be better than being stuck in an isolated pariah state that fucked us over for generations, though I have certain doubts about whether a regime change spearheaded by Russian people is even possible. Our entire history is that of learned helplesness.

Nevertheless, the goal is admirable. Thank you for indulging my curiosity.

The United States is a food exporter, so we won't go hungry. Costs may go up, but there won't be a shortage here. Good luck if you live in a nation that imports food though. Like say china.
This is true at a high level, and in the longer term we'll be OK, but our just-in-time food distribution networks are extremely sensitive to disruption. Same with Energy.

Given that minor transport issues during Covid led to stock issues of some kind in pretty much all of our supermarkets, I wouldn't be surprised to see serious food shortages in parts of the country in the near term. Especially in dense urban areas. Who's ready for another summer of peaceful protest?

Keep your pantries stocked folks.
