In this case, Pippa for a while has been pretty open to the fact she prefers Hololive's method of recruitment and streaming over Nijisanji's style (more playing a character/idol/escapism aspects vs Niji who tend to be more like 'normal' streamers). So they've been posting a clip of her saying this all over /vt/ in an effort to use it as a proxy for Holo vs Niji fags. All the while, they forget to mention around the time the stream was actually taken from, she asked people to recommend her Niji-EN streams so she can try watching them herself.
She tends to prefer the more calm/chill streamers (she's a professed Watamate) and I dunno if Niji has anyone who really fills that role for her.

Gonna share my thoughts now. I managed to watch 15 min. It was hilarious and I will need to watch VOD. I decided to favorite because I know that I'll enjoy it much more when I watch the VOD since that'll be after watch each of these people for hrs. The dynamic of these people is sweet and so nice, funny too. Ike's story about almost tripping on a tree root, the recounting of the Vox lightweight stuff, and Mysta's sausage comment were genuinely really funny.. Also favoriting because of the important of this, it's so sweet Ike and Nina traveled all the way to Britain just to visit Vox and Mysta.

Edit - Well that was ... something, and a reminder about why this is probably the best place to discuss Vtubers on the net. It was mainly just tribalfagging between the two groups. A bit of numberfagging, some holobros saying "your oshi's being dicked down" nijibros saying "that's ok's we treat our vtubers like people not idols, also niji is doing better numbers wise"
Also a lot of discussion about how the fujos are rationalizing this as "Nina's just there to watch"

There's a 4/5 month old clip of Pippa basically saying she prefers Hololive to Nijisanji and it's being used as bait.
I will say that I think it's fine to prefer one over the other, have no interest in one, or simply have not given one a chance whether you've made the effort or not...
...But I did cringe more than a little bit when she said Hololive is like a family and Nijisanji doesn't have that Escapism-friendly dynamic in its ranks. Even in the context of the JP branch that's still quite a bonkers assertion to make.
Can't wait to see all the fanart when people notice this.

Ina made a group in Elden Ring. "TAKOTIME". It makes it more likely for her to see your messages and such. But since its Fromsoft, it barely works. I've put down a few where she was and I know damn well others have too. But nothing ever shows.

Yeah it does feel that way although if we are lucky the ID girls will know EN, ID and JP. Also ID debuting so close to the new Holostars might create a sort of gen-like feel that some of the Holostars already had with ID Gen 1.

I like Reimu but as someone mentioned, she doesn't seem to stream to her strength. She's probably NijiEN's 2nd or 3rd best voice yet I have barely ever seen her done Karaokes. I also feel like she has skipped out on the huge Spanish audience by not doing more Spanish streams. Shit, Millie did a Spanish Duolingo and it had quite a bit of live-viewers. I have been following Hana Yomeguri and she goes hard on the Latin American crowd and she is growing at an absurd rate because of it.
I expected Millieto be the top in her gen but I thought Nina would be top 2. Didn't expect Enna and Reimu to be last even though they are the ones I like the most.
Didn't HoloX also rush their debuts? Announced 1 day. Debuted the next day and all of them the same day similar to how Nijisanji does it.
Didn't Gura comment on this at some point? That they had a list of girls to pick from (probably concept art) and they could then do minor tweaks to the designs.
I do wish she would walk away from the whole farting/burping thing. I think she could easily hit the 200-300 concurrent viewer mark if she steps away from that shit.
