How about instead of comparing Thomas' times to world records, compare his performance against his peers? He's clearly heard that belts can help to emphasize a smaller waist, which can be true. But one, he doesn't have a smaller waist! It's a way for hourglass/pear shapes to create a greater distinction between the waist and hips, and isn't a guideline intended for rectangular frames. And two, if he does insist on belts, they shouldn't have such contrast against the rest of the outfit. (Dark trim, etc.) High contrast equals drawing attention to the masculine waist, rather than providing an extra inch or so of illusory shape in a way that's essentially invisible and can be ignored.

The gender and sex distinction was not created as a way to explain trans to cis people. It was created by feminists to outline how society's expectations create "gender" which is distinct from sex which is an actual thing. Troons read the first part "gender is a social construct" and immediately jumped to "that means I'm a woman" without reading any of the other decades of feminist and "queer" literature they worship that barely if ever mentioned trans people other than brief asides as outliers. Now, of course, after receiving tiny pushback the troons are demanding that sex also be considered a social construct.

The "attack" on trans people in this case is a couple states have setup barriers to adults trooning out kids. Tony considers this an "attack on all" LGBTQ+ people and somehow the path towards rolling back Supreme Court decisions involving gay and trans rights, contraception, privacy rights and more.

Oh yeah, absolutely. The thing is that these dudes have literally zero interest in trying to find or wear flattering women's clothing - they're mostly just fetishists skinwalking whatever kind of girl they want to have sex with the most, regardless of body type. There are men who can make women's clothing work, but it takes work to figure out what looks good on your body when you don't have the same build as women do, and that's work troons are completely unwilling to do.

They see nothing, they are just attempting to cover up as much as possible. It's an illusion, an argument that changes position even if it contradicts the previous statements they made as long as it fools you and themselves for a bit. This is the doublethink people do to ignore things they don't like in front of them, just with their real gender instead of a deteriorating relationship (as an example).
