Not that I can remember. From what I recall when striker would praise some figure like dugin or lenin it would always be in the context of saying that whatever figure had some interesting ideas but never give a full throated endorsement like what fuentes does.

If you really dig into dugin he's functionally the russian version of a paleocon (not that he is an ideological paleocon, particularly because the political context in russia is different from the us, he just fills a similar sort of niche) it really isn't that surprising that american paleocons would see themselves somewhat in dugin, even if it isnt a perfect reflection. Naturally then, the ones who lack any sense of nuance like fuentes et al are more likely going to go out and say "yeah i love dugin hes great" without actually having ever read anything by him.

You raise a great point. Nick is retarded if he thinks that as someone from a sheltered Chicago upbringing, he can win in a southern state.
If he runs in South Florida which is majority nonwhite and also heavily jewish, he'll easily be able to be destroyed by his opponents running ads from his livestreams where he makes comments about jews and nonwhites.
If he runs in North Florida, which is heavily "southern" in how the people see themselves, he'll see no political viability based on his myriad number of comments making fun of southerners, their culture, they way they speak, his comments on Protestantism (as white southerners are almost always conservative protestants in churches like the Southern Baptist Convention) and his comments on rural/poor whites.
Fuentes is everything a typical white southerner hates, an arrogant, loudmouth upper-class rich kid northerner who makes fun of the south and thinks that their way of doing things is better. He's also an easily scapegoated boogieman to all the hispanics and jews that live in South Florida. Nick thinks he's "based" and that southern republicans are politically aligned with him, so I really, really hope he does run and realizes how unpalatable he is to the average person there.
