Because that's traditionally what it's been called in most interactions I had prior to this war. Saying "Ukraine" sounds really strange to me, in the same way as "United States", "United Kingdom", or other such terms do. I'm not changing the way I refer to the place, just as I'm not calling the capital anything other than "Kiev", or another central European country "The Czech Republic"
"The Ukraine" was its Slave Name. It goes by Raheem X now.

Yeah, I was under the impression that it fell yesterday, and that Azov got BTFO'd in their little metal-plant fortress. Did that latter part happen, at least?
Allegedly it happened a few days ago. Who really knows though, I have a feeling that the Russians claim a lot of regular army units are azov just for propaganda purposes. Don't get me wrong I still think azov is probably suffering heavy casualties.

I'm surprised they didn't just claim the entire city of Mariupol was chockful of Azovites or something. But that might just be a bridge too far even for the typically crude Russian propaganda.

It seems like everybody uses child soldiers for propaganda.
Russian government suggested youth organizations show support on social media, there's constant flow of finger paintings, folk songs, nice feel good stuff to put on your fridge.
Chechen kids probably had a few additional rock fights to sort out who gets to hold the gun and who wears the Z-shirt over the baby shower plate carrier.

Actually, I have heard almost exactly that from one source (The location of which I'm afraid I've forgotten). There was some footage of a bunch of corpses in the hallways/storage rooms of some apartment building in Mauripol, with the implication that;

A: They were Azov (Probably)

B: This was the case across the city, and perhaps also that civilians had gotten sick of Azov niggers commandeering their homes and merked them themselves. (God knows. I imagine the latter has happened in at least a couple cases though, if the propaganda I'm hearing about Azov is true)

EDIT: Adding onto this; it was honestly my impression that Azov were the primary (Or possibly sole) hohol military element in Mauripol for a few weeks now. I don't know what Azov's actual strength is/was.

The most I ever heard them having from estimates was 3 or 4k, with as little as 900. They're just one small part of the defense of the city, they just get the most publicity. I'm sure regular army units are happy to let Azov get hit with reddit guided missiles in their place.

Nice cope.
If you believe that you spent the exact amount as is officially declared, great. I'm sure you're right, all the checkbooks are clean and all those stories of massive money waste in the US military are just Russian bot nonsense.
Still doesn't change the absolute fact that the US has accomplished absolutely nothings besides wasting all that definitely legit amount of money, then lost even that nothing in a matter of days.
'We could have' means nothing.

Your splitting hairs, the amount of money spent off the record wouldn't amount more than a rounding error in comparison to the official figures.

The receipts for our spending amount to a little over two trillion dollars. How much higher do you thing the "real" figure is ? three trillion ? five trillion ? ten trillion ? Even on the lower end of the scale where do you think that amount of money comes from and how would it be possible to hide the fact it was being spent ?

The economic cost of Afghanistan wasn't something that severely effected the stability and well being of the US, Ukraine very well could be for Russia.

Ah. So you're saying being bitchslaped by some cave dwelling goat fuckers in a matter of days was actually part of the plan all along.

No, it was a fuck up pure and simple.

But everything we had gained in the previous 20 years wasn't lost in in 20 days. It was being given up since at least 2014.

No need to tell me that the American public is the biggest bunch of retards of all. Believe me, I've learned that on my own just in the last few days browsing the internet.
Interesting take from this could be that you'd think Ukraine will be forgotten just as fast as Afghanistan. It won't be.

And yet the American public somehow elect representatives on the left and right that were both voting overwhelmingly in favor of legislation that targeted Russian energy exports well before this invasion happened while the European public elected representatives who fondled Putin's nut sack right up until the moment troops rolled up to Kiev. They still are even now as their dependency on Russian oil and gas is the main hurdle to causing real economic harm to Russia.

I agree that Ukraine is much bigger than Afghanistan but the fuck up is entirely on Europe, the US has warned constantly about remaining dependent on the Russian energy market. And those warnings, just like the warnings of the invasion itself, were dismissed by the people of Europe, the third parties most effected. Just like the repeated pressure to increase military spending.

Should note that the steelworks didn't really have anything to do with the Azov battalion, they share the same name because they're both named after the Sea of Azov. There were some Ukrie soldiers holed up in there but it wasn't some kind of fortified military base.

The chemical attacks in Syria were half WWI level chlorine attacks by our islamist pals and half bullshit. How else do you explain notorious glow op le based heroic White Helmets handling people supposedly exposed to sarin bare handed and not being affected? Sarin is a contact poison.

And notice how long and hard now the media has been pushing that Putin WILL use chemical weapons because he's MAD and EVIL and THE REINCARNATION OF HITLER OY VEY!!!11!1!

It's not gonna be annudah shoah. It's gonna be annudah 9/11. And most people will fall for it

EDIT

OY VEY REMEMBER WHEN PUTIN DEFINITELY CERTAINLY USES CHEMICAL WEAPONS BECAUSE HES EVIL AND INSANE AND EATS JE- I MEAN UKRANIAN BABIES FOR BREAKFAST HES LITERALLY WORSE THAN HITLER!!!!!!!

OYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
VEYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
The white helmets probably launched the sarin attacks lol.

You're retarded.

Putin said before this started what he wanted. He hasn't changed his demands. He is continuing his plan to get his demands.

But you're a fucking mind reader who knows he's been lying this whole time.

Never change.

You're right, which is why he specifically spoke about 'denazifying ukraine' aka setting up a government more in step with Russian interests.

If you don't know how to sus out the implications in vagaries that politicians are fond of speaking in then I don't know what to tell you, bub. You just sound like a useful idiot to me.
