Two 8-month-old pit bulls that were loose in Nanaimo attacked several children, severely injuring at least one. Other people that came to aid the children were also injured.

The children were playing in a yard at the house of one of their friends. The dogs were from somewhere else in the neighborhood and had been cited for being at large previously.

One of the owners of the dogs came and got the dogs but did not stick around. The news interviewed the other owner, a Dangerhair that looked to be in her late 40s or early 50s. While she was devastated at what her dogs had done, she said to the reporter, "People are saying, look at this from the prospective of a parent, well, these dogs are my kids, too," and then she broke down crying.

It was later reported both dogs were euthanized, as there have been other incidents prior to this one, and due to the severity of the injuries the one particular child sustained.

To the dangerhair dog owner I would have to say, "If these dogs were your KIDS, you did a lousy job of raising them. Thank heavens you didn't spawn any of your own."

I mean, this is also true. Slightly OT but you look at all these trash fucking households, and the kids being killed in them and there is always, always one thing in common: When the child is killed by an adult it is either directly at the hands of a non-related adult, or as a result of violence instigated by that person.

Scrapping dog-licenses was a huge mistake. And chavscum should never be allowed dogs, ever. They got for dogs they are incapable of caring for, and don't want as anything more than status symbols.


Also, the Mum. You can practically fucking smell her through the screen. Fabulosa cleaning products, Pacco Rabane Black XS, stale B&H and the most recent load of spaff her BF blew on her tits that she's not cleaned off properly.


Edited to say: Obviously, it's not just her fault. But if she had any reluctance on her part about getting that dog and having it in the house, had she called the Police and said she wanted the dog, and her "partner" out, the Police would absofuckingloutely have sided with her (and they'd have been right to in this instance). Both her and her "partner" are in the wrong but she 100% had the means to prevent this from happening and she chose not to take it. That child died because the two "adults" in the home bought a fucking time bomb into the house, and waited for it to explode, and it took the kid out with it.

I'm not sure if the UK still has this after our common law broke off from theirs, but the old common law rule was that one who maintained an inherently dangerous animal was strictly liable for all damages, without regard to fault or negligence.

The short answer on civil liability is yes, we do still have it. People here though are retards and see civil law/liability as somehow "lesser" or not worth bothering with. There's this idiotic belief that "hurrdurrr well if the Police won't sort it for me why should I even bother???" which self selects lots of people out of seeking civil restitution.

And that', as you describe it, is pretty much how it would apply. They didn't know (or couldn't prove, due to ignorance about the dogs bitch and sire) anything about the animals background, and they made a shitty choice. As sad as it is the kid died, at least it only killed one person and it was from that household. And it was someone who can't sue the dog owners as well.

38 year old woman mauled so badly that both arms up to the shoulders have been amputated, her leg amputated and the dogs ripped out her colon and esophagus.

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A 12-year-old and a 17-year-old have turned themselves in to authorities following a vicious attack on Buddy the cat in Philadelphia's Frankford section.

The suspects came in to the Pennsylvania SPCA with a parent to address the charges on Friday afternoon.

Both of the suspects have been taken into custody and are pending a custodial determination hearing, the SPCA said.

The dogs related to this incident have also been taken into the custody of the Pennsylvania SPCA.

The current charges filed include felony animal fighting, felony aggravated animal cruelty and a conspiracy charge, according to the SPCA.

"While this act of cruelty was especially shocking in its intentional nature, the outpouring of support for Buddy the cat and the effort to bring the offenders to justice has been overwhelming," said Julie Klim, CEO of the Pennsylvania SPCA.

The attack happened Tuesday morning on Granite Street.

Video shows two people walking by a home when they apparently allow two dogs to attack Buddy.

One person in the video can be heard encouraging the dogs, saying "good boy," as the vicious attack continued.

"There is a sound heard on the video that indicates they are encouraging the dogs. That continues until a resident of one property comes out and sees what's happening and everybody attempts to pull the dogs off the cat," Nicole Wilson, the PSPCA's director of humane law enforcement, told Action News.

The Pennsylvania SPCA said Buddy, the six or seven-year-old cat suffered serious internal injuries.

The PSCPA said ACCT Philly gave them Buddy who was sent to an ER vet to be closely monitored.

As of Thursday, the SPCA said Buddy is hanging in there.

"Though he be but little, he is fierce. He remains in critical condition, but we are cautiously optimistic," the PSPCA said on its Facebook page Thursday.

In another update Friday morning, the organization posted video of Buddy kneading, also known as "making biscuits/muffins."

According to the American Animal Hospital Association, "Kneading is an instinctive trait in cats, who often knead on a soft surface, such as a blanket, other cats, or your lap. It appears to be relaxing and soothing-many cats will purr contentedly, drift off into sleep, or simply zone out and enjoy the motion."

"Donate if you can. Send good thoughts if you want. And take solace in how many people across the country and globe are pulling for this sweet boy," the PSPCA said.

A South Carolina mom had to have both her arms amputated after being savagely mauled by three pit bulls, her family says.
Ailing victim Kyleen Waltman, 38, also lost part of her colon and may have to have a section of her esophagus removed, too, her sister said.
“This is the most horrific thing I’ve ever seen,” sibling Amy Wynne told local TV station WYFF.

Kyleen remains in critical condition in the hospital since she was attacked by the dogs on a sidewalk in Honea Path northwest of Columbia on Monday.
Authorities said a man found Waltman being mauled by the dogs — and was eventually able to scare the animals off by firing his gun into the air.
The severely injured victim was airlifted to a nearby hospital.

“By that time, they couldn’t even tell who she was,” said Waltman’s other sister, Shenna Green. “If it wasn’t for [the passer-by], my sister wouldn’t be here.”
Justin Minor, the owner of the three pit bulls, was charged in relation to the attack and released on a $15,000 surety bond on Thursday,
The victim’s sisters want Minor to be held responsible.
“It could’ve been prevented,” Wynne said. “If the dogs were locked up or if the dogs were chained up, or if they were never there to begin with, this would’ve never happened.”

It wasn’t immediately clear how the dogs ended up on the street.
Signs that read “Beware of dog” can be seen on Minor’s property, according to local media.
The dogs were seized by Abbeville County Animal Control in the wake of the attack, and the police investigation is ongoing.

The problems with Pitbulls is that they're dumb, easily scared, genetic messes.

Ok you get a Pitbull, spend hours every day looking after it, exercising it, trying to socialise it, reassuring it... Well done your reward is you now have a stupid fucking dog, who probably won't kill you or a neighbour.,if it gets startled one day. What the fuck kind of pet is that?

They're fit for purpose. The problem is they aren't made for being a damn pet. You get the "nanny" pit bull from on old and bred bitch that has integrated the child as another one of her puppies. It's not a typical situation. If you put them behind a slightly smarter, slightly faster dog, they'll shine at killing wild hogs. They'll kill them themselves if you aren't fast enough. It also takes the same kind of callous farmer's logic to understand a revolver is part of the kit with these animals, and any person>your working animal.

The fucking worst kinds of people are the fucking trash that decide they're shitty enough to turn out a dog, but they're not man enough to see the job through. Most suffer, starve, and quickly die. Those that die slower go feral and form packs. You want to talk about un-rehabable animals, you wouldn't be able to re-feed them without an abysmal fatality rate. It's a haunting look when what should be a pet is hungrily looking at you, knowing it's going to die in the attempt, and going for it anyway. I work hard to maintain a mental boundary and stay dispassionate towards the animals. The rage for the human garbage that causes this is unrequited though.

So either my search skills suck or she somehow wasn't mentioned here. Pibble eats her face off which isn't the most eyebrow-raising part to me. /Pol/ largely reads her being stark naked when found exactly as you would expect, with a minority decrying them as projecting perverts. Like I could understand torn clothes, or missing pieces, but I cannot rationalize complete removal of the clothes without also flaying the skin underneath. Which compared to the face is virtually untouched.

Usually you'll have a bit of hound bred in on a couple chase dogs with a few pits to back them up for hog hunting. For very little money, or free if you lack ethics, you can put these teams together. Since you're going after boar you'd need some kind of real armor for an expensive breed. If you can't fix a pit with field vet gear, a .357 cures all ills. I don't like it but when it comes to cost/effectiveness it's only really matched by trapping. When we've had bad infestations we'll call them in and run down those that escaped trapping. Usually really trashy people.
