Happy one month birthday to this hilarious post that gets funnier with each passing day.

So are these guys particularly war crime prone?
It's a paramilitary comprised of ultra-nationalists. Basically the mother of all war crimes.
Speaking of that, this thread goes into detail how the sanctions are going to completely fuck Russia's military, as well as how Russians really did think this would be a cake walk and a repeat of 2014 and how the elites are starting to flee in the higher parts of the thread.

TLDR version, Russia can produce shit like tanks and jets, but they don't actually produce the things to make said tanks. Bearings, high end computer equipment, industrial machines, they aren't produced by Russia. So they can't make really make newer, more expensive designs and now can't even make new tanks and might not even be able to make repairs or heavy maintenance on their existing stock, it's why newer, more expensive designs like the T-14 and SU-57 have been practically cancelled after the 2014 sanctions hit them, and it's a problem they didn't fix in the past 8 years.

Ukrainians didnt just stop being slavniggers when Russia invaded. I would be surprised if even 50% of those made it to the battlefield. The rest are already in Africa and the ME by now. Flash a few grand under the nose of a dude who only makes a few hundred bux a month and he is going to let a few fall off the truck.

Going to be entertaining when Muhammad starts popping passenger jets on approach to Paris airport in a year or 2 with some Javelins :story:
Honestly I'm not terribly worried about it. Stuff like that requires some specialized maintenance over time, I doubt most third world shitheaps are capable of keeping them operational. Look at it this way, how many passenger jets have been shot down in the last 20 years by MANPADS, despite them flowing freely from armories across the middle east?

He's not entirely wrong. Russia simply doesn't have the domestic industry to replace outside parts, it's why their modernization programs hit a damn wall after 2014. It'll take a lot of time for the domestic military manufacturing industry to provide anything worth a damn.

This whole war is going so sideways for the Russians, with practical support from the west making it WW3 that they might flake off and lose Cremea from this failed war. If this happens I will fucking laugh.
It was on my bingo as a shitpost, but since about everything else on the bingo has happened, and crazier shit has too, I don't know at this point.

Something like 40% of soviet defense industry was in Ukraine before the breakup. That definitely has caused setbacks.

Pretty sure China makes all those things tho.

Chinese military hardware isn't as good as Western gear, but it's not crap either. A lot of it was directly stolen from the West, reverse engineered, then built for cheaper than the West can.

They're not as good at building high end jet engines as Russia is, and their discount tires bought from AliExpress are obviously shit, but their manufacturing capabilities are now the best in the world. No reason they can't supply bearings, high end computers, industrial machinery, sensors and optics to Russia.

Meanwhile Nato countries are still trying to get to grips with their dependence on Chinese parts used in tanks, fighter jets, missiles and ships.

Just Putain's fault for thinking a backwards, frozen hellhole like Russia could be hegemon in 2022.

I'll be very interested to see what conditions China has on the sale of those items. The cynic in me wonders if China won't let them build up their defense sector too much, instead preferring to get the Russians to just outright buy hardware. It would be a convenient way to reduce competition to Chinese military hardware on the open market as well.
