Some fresh copium for all the ukrabros out there. According to the Ukrainian MoD, which never lies about anything ever, Russian troops in the Kiev area have been pushed back up to ~45 miles. I'm guessing this claim is in regards to fighting on the western side of the city, as the only reports on the eastern side have been of Russians gaining control of more territory. Retreating 45 miles would mean the Russians were pushed back almost all the way to the Belarus border.

it's kind of like how the Katyn Massacre was only discovered by the Nazi occupiers and the Soviets documented Auschwitz. you should take a side highlighting uts enemies atrocities with a grain of salt, but that doesn't mean that it's not true

Tbf, a Polish officer did managed into reporting about the camps, while literally held in Auschwitz before the Soviets knew about it. He was executed by the communists 2 years after the war.

As for Katyn, knowledge of the massacre was already held in suspicious once the Polish government-in exile began asking about the whereabouts of their officers in which the Soviets claimed to "lost track" of them in Manchuria, but were "free" nonetheless. It was not until after the fall of the USSR in 1991 were the files revealed the truth.

That said, the Nazis would've done the same to the Polish prisoners and likely did so during the invasion of Poland. Just not in Katyn.

What do you mean? DPR forces are providing humanitarian aid on captured territory, and civilians are telling them about their experiences.Who else are they going to tell about atrocities committed, the Ukrainian forces themselves?

I think if people thought Poland would happily accept 3-4 million Russian-speaking refugees without any griping, you're on crack. Russia cannot deal with guerilla wars, they are just too organised for it and cannot think outside the box.

Zelensky cannot give those regions up one the field with the s*** ton of natural gas and oil resources which would be stupid to give up in the first place

Chinese military hardware isn't as good as Western gear, but it's not crap either. A lot of it was directly stolen from the West, reverse engineered, then built for cheaper than the West can.

They're not as good at building high end jet engines as Russia is, and their discount tires bought from AliExpress are obviously shit, but their manufacturing capabilities are now the best in the world. No reason they can't supply bearings, high end computers, industrial machinery, sensors and optics to Russia.

Meanwhile Nato countries are still trying to get to grips with their dependence on Chinese parts used in tanks, fighter jets, missiles and ships.

Plus American military contractors are pretty corrupt and they will make a 9.99 hammer cost 5,000 dollars that will still not be able to drive a damn nail unless you commit to a cadre of Maintenance personnel servicing it.

I have no idea but I'm gonna guess generally "no", they're probably won't suddenly pull a fast one while they benefit from Russian tech in planes, radar and missiles. They've been tight on defense for decades and trying to jew the Slavs over a few hundred tanks or plane sales is less important than having an ally able to fight off the Empire.

Normally I would agree, but from what I've read pre war, the Chinese have pretty much gotten all the tech they need out of them, and in some areas have surpassed them.

It was never about annexing Ukraine, it was about securing those regions. It's why Russia is so confused why the war is taking so long because they expected the war would be over once the contested territories are pretty much in Russian hands. They didn't expect Ukraine to spergout and refuse to let a single piece of land go without Kiev falling. The result is going to be hundreds of thousands of meaningless deaths to get the same result that could have happened within day 14.

They would like to take Kiev and install a puppet if they could.

What Putin didn’t realize is that a significant portion of the Ukrainian population hates him so much they’re willing to fight longer than they otherwise would or reasonably should. Hatred is one hell of a drug. That miscalculation is on their intelligence. So yes they will likely take those regions but at what cost?

Im fairly certain they’re referring to the western side as well. If it was the East they’d specify that.

Straight up war crimes. Just like with ISIS the CIA have been training extremist groups to conduct mass murder and gross human rights violations. This video was released on purpose, it's meant to provoke the Russians into a response. We know that the Ukies have been murdering their own people, including women and children, for the optics.

So far I have learned today that the Ukrainians were 100% conducting bioweapons research and that some of it was being funded through the American President's own son.

That almost every single thing the Ukrainians have said about their conduct prior to the invasion and during it is a tissue of lies. Yes they were shelling the Donbas and murdering civilians. Yes they were planning to have a cache of WMDs to use against Russia. Yes they have literal Nazis in their armed forces.

Before my support for Russia was based on hatred of America, and God how much to I hate burgers. However right now I reckon the Ukies 100% deserved to be invaded. Nations should be wary of allowing Ukrainian refugees to settle among them, they're not as bad as Americans but they seem an evil lot.

Yeah they're usually pretty good at the finer details. They probably pushed all Russians back within a 70km radius around Kiyv in an epic push and the Russians abandoned all their gear and shot themselves in the leg to avoid fighting.

While looking to see what distances were reported about this I saw this. Yes they're they're the same all the way through. Good journalism.

I'm surprised Pravda has a short article on it that's pretty to the point, just quoting the guy who said it.
