Western media has been repeating this same refrain for the last two and a half weeks, yet each time there is a face to face between the belligerents, nothing comes of it. If he’s willing to do it, what’s stopping him? I mean, I know he doesn’t want to “hang from a tree”, but doesn’t he keep telling us the A3OBros aren’t “really” Nazis?

[For context…]
I'm not sure what western media you're referring to - the interview published today is the first time Zelensky has stated that he would concede Crimea and the Donbas republics. Previously he had stated over and over that those territories would never be conceded and that any peace agreement must include respect for Ukraine's "territorial integrity".

they're having a Very Constructive Conversation on Twitter about how to redesign a more satisfactory Russia after
The Regime Change, which of course won't be enough

Remember the last time America tried to bring "democracy" to the Middle East? They can't even tame one of the poorest countries in the world, not to mention $83 billion of equipment left for the Taliban of all people.

And yet we'll get it right this time.

It's a terrible idea, but it would stand a better chance in a country like Russia over those shitheaps. Not having to deal with stone age inbreds with a tribal mentality does do wonders towards creating a functional state. Again, still a terrible fucking idea.

Whoa, they went from "countries are just imaginary lines on the map and no human's illegal on stolen land :smug:" to "kill the traitors" fast :story:
What's that sign I saw from Protest Warrior all that time ago?

"Say NO to War...unless a Democrat is president!"

Turns out they were right all along, at least on this subject.

Also, disagreement with your "leaders" = being a traitor. Yeah, sure.

Nothing new. The entire Palestine argument is based on a people's ownership of a land based on an ancestral claim, which you'd never see a leftist extrapolate to someone white. Ditto Africa.

I haven’t checked the thread in a while and all I see on my Instagram feed is a mishmash of Chechen propaganda and emotional videos of Gliorious Ukrainian Partisans. Is there a possibility that this changes this week or will the thread continue to be people fighting each other about nothing?

World kickboxing champion Maxim Kagal, who had enlisted in one of the two Azov battalions, has fallen in Mariupol (source), Rest In Peace, Rest In Power. The only people negative about the Azoz Battalion(s) are Western Putinist pearl clutchers who are a decidedly marginal element. If they keep holding Putin will likely see about forming battalions with an ideological or religious bent, saying drawing on the concept of Russkiy-mir, what gets a small number of men fighting hard. The nearest to them might be the Kadyrovski, but they are guard firstly for the Head of the Chechen Republic, Ramzan Kadyrov, and their actual combat experience seemed limited and propagandistic. Denys Prokopenko and Svyatoslav Palamar Battalions both seem to be earning their keep making the Russians pay a high price for every foot of soil, although it should not be forgotten that most defenders would be naval infantry not really needed to defend a nearly non existent navy, but very much needed for the defence of their home soil.

Viewers might have suspected fraud by US and Canadian firefighter equipment has been provided to Ukrainian fire men. A fuel depot in Lviv lit by a Russian strike.

A barricade in Kyiv made substantially of manhole covers. It is unknown what is now covering the various drains and sewers.

Honestly it might be a nasty surprise for someone. Perhaps the Ukies are going to deploy poo covered Reddit troons against the Russian lines, it might violate the Geneva Convention, yet it'd be also Brave And Stunning.

The tooth to tail of a Russian tank or how many support troops needed for each tank, and before that, for half, he talks of how the tooth to tail varied between the American Civil War and now. He suggests 1 combat soldier for every 1.1 support.

Kadyrov certainly seems to have a boring enough Telegram channel. Barely interesting bits of footage and stilted blasts of Order Of The Day propaganda. Still it isn't cringe worthy like some Ukrainian propaganda. It just seems a bit dull, is all.

What do you mean? DPR forces are providing humanitarian aid on captured territory, and civilians are telling them about their experiences.Who else are they going to tell about atrocities committed, the Ukrainian forces themselves?

Here is a video of a Ukrainian civilian screaming at soldiers to move their artillery away from the hospital and nearby living homes. What is that *click we heard? probably just a wind

There are two possibilities:
1) These refugees fled to DNR-controlled territory involuntarily. They know damn well what to expect from Dunbass liberators and will tell what they want to hear to improve their chance of not being robbed and thrown in the ditch.
2) They fled there voluntarily. That means they're either extremely low IQ or are brainwashed by Russian propaganda. No sane person will go in that direction if he has a choice.

What a surprise, military doesn't take advices on tactics from a fucking civilian. Sorry, the city is surrounded, they got nowhere else to deploy. Also, that doesn't change the fact that if you use unguided bombs and MLRS to hit targets within city limits, you're basically conduct indiscriminate bombings and this can constitute a war crime.

This thread somehow just keeps getting darker and darker and darker and darker. No wonder @L50LasPak left it.

Yeah, we'll get to the point of people saying "why carrying out terrorist attacks inside of Russia is good, moral and that it's just the nature of war, bro, trust me".

All of the fake moral outrage will dissipate and every Ukrie shill will reveal their inner tankie.

Honesty I wouldn't be surprised if post war we have a few terrorist attacks from both Russians and Ukrainians against the others countries. There's going to be quite a few people on both sides that have lost damn near everything and don't have much to lose. It's a recipe for disaster.

You're more likely to get Ukrainian gangs popping up becuase there's not enough work to go around. Especially in Poland.

Western countries already have Russian gangs. We might get turf wars.

Probably not much change this week. Russia appears to be shifting to just holding or retreating from positions in the north to consolidate it's gains in the east/southeast, and suggesting that liberating Donbas was their 'main goal' for the 'special operation'. Zelensky's made some suggestion that they'd be willing to concede the loss of Donbas and Crimea and agree to neutrality. But we're still obviously nowhere near a compromise as Russia clearly wants to hang onto as much of the land it's taken as it can, while Ukraine's probably not going to accept Russia's definition of neutrality(which would almost certainly include disarmament).
