Yeah it looks pretty real to me, you really get that tard rage energy and he's not that good an actor. He is screaming weird bullshit about his wife with no context for the audience. If it was fake we would know what was going on, we would be in on it, it would have the hallmark of a writer.

He is loosing it Big Willy style but between Scientology and his 'son' I don't think that's very surprising.

Edit: I'm wrong, the there is more context available but there is also more tape of Chris Rock standing around awkwardly looking like he doesn't have a fucking clue what to do and flopping about. So I stand by my original assessment but not my reasoning for it.

From what I remember of his sitcom show and when you look at his stature and stuff, I'm pretty sure he's the kinda guy that is a professional at taking beatings but not at dishing them out. That's why he had to be funny, he's the hard-up tiny nigga. Big ItzAGundam energy.

I seriously doubt this was staged. You can clearly hear the punch land and Chris Rock doesn't have a witty comeback, if they planned this they would have played it up for the audience so they could get a big reaction.

Yeah, and you can hear that half the audience thinks it's a joke and they're all laughing, then the laughter gets real nervous.

It has nothing to do with getting an audience reaction, it is about getting a social media reaction and get people watching.
