Will Smith slapped Chris Rock over a joke about Jada Pinkett Smith's bald head at Oscars 2022.

Will Smith accosted Chris Rock at Oscars 2022 Sunday night for joking about his wife Jada Pinkett Smith’s bald head.

Rock took to the stage and quipped, “Jada, I love you, ‘G.I. Jane 2,’ can’t wait to see it,” but while the “King Richard” star first laughed about the joke he immediately turned sour.

Pinkett Smith looked furious before the censors turned on and muted Rock and Smith’s exchange. Lip readers, however, quickly realized a livid Smith shouted, “Keep my wife’s name out of your f–king mouth.”

Momentarily fazed, Rock responded, “Wow, Will Smith just smacked the s–t out of me” before defending his joke as “just a ‘G.I. Jane’ joke,” but the Oscar-nominated actor wasn’t having it and kept screaming, “Keep my wife’s name out of your f–king mouth.”

“The Nutty Professor” star suffers from alopecia and has been vocal about her struggle with hair loss and debuted a shaved head last summer.

“Willow made me do it because it was time to let go BUT … my 50’s are bout to be Divinely lit with this shed,” the 50-year-old actress wrote, reposting a selfie featuring the pair’s matching shaved styles.

I would totally beat the shit out of someone who insults the honor of someone I love, but 1. this wasn't remotely offensive no matter how hard twitter is going crazy with the "sHe hAs aLopeCia!" cringe and 2. Jada has no honor, she's a cheating whore and deserves no respect from anyone.

The worst part is that, if you're gonna act that tough and macho, at least have the decency to know out the person you're punching. Chris Rock aint' that big, he's just a comedian and I'm sure he couldn't believe Will Smith punches like a girl. Honestly, if I had been me, I'd say "really? that's all. No wonder your wife looks for other men."

It was the soft-ballest joke ever. And the weakest comment to make on a shitty haircut.

G.I. Jane was 25 years ago. It actually took me a couple of seconds to get the reference, surely theres been a bald bitch since then?
That's also a big part of why people think this is staged. It was such a light little poke that the response doesn't even make sense.

Did he really ever have street cred? The sitcom he made that was loosely inspired by his childhood portrayed him as a swagless beast.
Actual street cred? Doubt it. But he's probably gone from "you a funny nigga" to "you a pussy-ass bitch, nigga" and if the steins and the changs cant sell him to the "urban" demographic than he's over.

I think some harsh insults flashed across Chris Rock's mind but he was smart enough to keep the show going. I'm genuinely impressed at how he handled it considering it's so ridiculous and there's so much material to work with.

Oh boo boo your multimillionaire celebrity wife who famously cheats on and walks all over you got some jokes at her expense. However could she have managed without you will
Yeah seriously. He might as well have stolen Rock's mic and said "HEY TWITTER!!! I AM SENSITIVE TO JOKES ABOUT MY WIFE!!!!"

Fingers crossed we get Smith threatening stan accounts like an Internet tough guy in the near future.
