Will Smith slapped Chris Rock over a joke about Jada Pinkett Smith's bald head at Oscars 2022.

Will Smith accosted Chris Rock at Oscars 2022 Sunday night for joking about his wife Jada Pinkett Smith’s bald head.​

Rock took to the stage and quipped, “Jada, I love you, ‘G.I. Jane 2,’ can’t wait to see it,” but while the “King Richard” star first laughed about the joke he immediately turned sour.

Pinkett Smith looked furious before the censors turned on and muted Rock and Smith’s exchange. Lip readers, however, quickly realized a livid Smith shouted, “Keep my wife’s name out of your f–king mouth.”

“The Nutty Professor” star suffers from alopecia and has been vocal about her struggle with hair loss and debuted a shaved head last summer.

This probably would have been the optimal situation for him, really. Regardless of who he slapped (barring a woman or a troon) nothing really is/was ever going to happen to Smith from a legal standpoint.
