Those negotiations were the earliest ones, the russians would most definitely have motivation to prolong them
Russia is not some monolith, especially not its '''elites'''. IMO when someone saw the fail of the initial plan, they decided to give a green light to negotiations. Or maybe they thought that it's time and UA will just give up. If I recall correcltly it was RU who requested the negotiatins in Minsk, not the other way round. But some die-hards '''elites"' considered it wrong, especially that Putin's friend Roman was involved and decided to send a clear signal. AFAIK after that Abramovich got happily sanctioned and fucked off. They didn't want to kill them aparently, only to show them, including Abramovich, that getting involved is a bad idea.

Actually they could do that just out of spite lol, without any plan because strategy is not their strong side. "We do it because we can, omegalul"

I'm very much doubting that Putin is on board with poisoning the negotiators. Seems like bad optics with no gain at best. Maybe another Russian power player benefits from egging this on. It wouldn't surprise if western glows did it but that's a bit too schizo for me right now.
I personally think it's western powers, and specifically the US. I mean, if it can keep the Russians and Ukes from the negotiating table, they'll have it done. Hell, the CIA likely had some of the stuff handy, in case they needed to frame someone.

Christian Lindner, the German finance minister, just said that the Russians demanding gas payments in rubles is "blackmail".

Lol idiot. "We sanctioned you, how dare you cut off our gas that's under your soil!"
the West really does think they de facto own everything on this Earth already and that the exchange of the currency of their choosing is all that should happen for them to get it. it'd explain the EU's retarded energy policies perfectly TBH.

You vastly overestimate the CIAs current ability to put people on the ground to do that shit. I'm not saying they can't, but since the end of the cold war, they've heavily shifted to just having shitloads of analysts sitting in Langley with relatively few humint assets in comparison. Think of all the intelligence failures the US has had over the last few decades, a lot of it is because the intelligence services rely heavily on paper pushers, and not enough human eyes on location.

Again that's if any of its even true.

the sooner these euro cuckolds get cut off from russian gas, the sooner they're forced to find a solution to replace it, and will be better off in the long term
having any critical part of your infrastructure be dependent on foreign imports is fucking retarded and should never be allowed in the first place
I recommend taking a look at the video @Kraut made on the subject.
A fundamental part of the framework the EU created post-WWII to prevent the constant wars in Europe was a philosophy of economic interdependency. The theory went that such entangled economies would make a war of conquest too cost prohibitive. Russia has taken this assumption and thrown it out the window, which is causing a crisis of peacetime policy in Europe since they've been forced to question their most fundamental policies.

It doesn't matter how many kills the Russkies rack, it will never be enough.
I think we should create one since let’s be real here we or someone else wanted to kill that one journalist at one point in time. Give them a noddle and Russia is giving the whole world one huge solid. Hell Mexico is a head in that game.
I’m not advocating for killing journalist but they brought it on themselves.

Unconfirmed so take it as you want.

I've kind of been wondering this whole time if the ukies have been aware of just how fucktarded these guys are, and have just been leaving them to die so they don't have to deal with them post war.
Indeed. I read that they refuse to take orders from the regular army and operate on their own. I can also imagine that a lot of them
are pissed off because Zelensky refused to send reinforcements to Mariupol. He's better off without them.

Well, Russia was never fully integrated into the EU to begin with. Maybe if NATO was disbanded and they put more faith in this premise 30 years ago, it might have worked.

Oh definitely. Them gone will definitely contribute to post war stability, regardless of the outcome of the war.
