I'll be watching today's episode only because Ethan loves to comment on Internet drama, and there's a minute chance that if Destiny's ban comes up, we come up too. It's hope beyond cope and doesn't justify sitting through the slog of the podcast, but your reasoning won't stop me from three hours of self-inflicted pain. At least the Will Smith sperging might be funny.

Second, in comedy, “black, straight, cishet comedians overwhelmingly make fun of black women,” which reads as very “Straight Black Men Are the White People of Black People.” Ethan more or less smiles and sees her off before beginning to seethe more.

I know it looks like artwork that one of her kids might've drawn, but having seen her sketches that she posts to Twitter and Insta in the past I legitimately think she drew these herself. Not even as a joke, her art is extremely rudimentary at best and childlike. Take a look at her amazing piece of concept/reference art for one of their hoodies. I'm no artist either but this straight up looks like something a young teen would doodle on their math homework, not legitimate concept art for a product they plan on producing.
Teddy Fresh genuinely reminds me of the outfits they used for Rita Leeds in Arrested Development. In fact Arrested Development is a great name for Ethan's career.

This is the second recent situation off the top of my head where Ethan has a take, his audience reacts in nearly real time with some shit which should be ridiculous about why his take is bad, and he has to try to take the criticism seriously as the sinking realization sets in that "this IS my fanbase now".
