Wuhan Coronavirus / COVID-19 Thread 2: Booster Shot - Resume all Corona sperging here.

Not really, no. Masks are an everyday item in Japan besides being used when you're sick. People wear them during allergy season, when they're out and about and don't want to be bothered by anyone (celebrities especially, but it's also kind of like wearing headphones so no one talks to you) they're going out quickly and didn't brush their teeth/shave, and women wear them when they don't want to put on makeup.
Good to know, I must have been there there outside of allergy season because I only really saw old people and a few others wearing them. The makeup angle is probably what this particular cartoon is referencing if I had to guess as the main characters are office ladies.

Apparently its fairly common that these things leak from labs and its become more and more common in the last few years:

I guess with China having its hush hush policies, it probably took too long to react to the leak or take it seriously.

In the US there was a leak of some kind of mutated lab-created virus in 2010. Luckily, supposedly, all these incidents prior to the alleged lab leak in Wuhan were "contained".

Not sure how to archive videos from Bitchute exactly , however here's a video on Chinese people finally taking a stance to rise up against their zero-no tolerance Covid policies.

Wonder if the BBC will cover these protests as they covered the ones in Hong Kong.

Here's a link for it as well. It sounds like the FDA did it without actually consulting the experts. Is there any doubt now what's driving these decisions?
This article also interviews an immunologist who sounds very unconvinced but didn't seem to be willing to admit it. He recommends others get it but didn't plan to himself. He better hope he gets the choice
The experts trotted out in the last two years have simply been mouthpieces. Those who disagreed with the alleged safety and efficacy of the vaccines (or even questioned precautionary measures such as lockdowns, masking, or social distancing) in the first place were quickly silenced by force or by threats to take away their livelihood. In some cases, doctors who advised their patients against taking the vaccines received threats from the medical board to strip them of their licenses. There's always more pro-vaccine spokespeople willing to take the dissidents' place.

I don't see the tides changing any time soon. The public may grow weary of the prospect of endless shots (unlike the flu shot, which is optional almost every case and is only required once a year), but I still see a good majority of people reluctantly accepting the fact that they have to get boosted again.

Oo, new issue of the ACM magazine. I usually laugh at the cover and toss it because their front-and-center stories are frequently about troonery or boohooing that women still feeeeeeeeel unheard or whining that any given industry isn't 80% black people or whatever. This time nothing jumped out, so I flipped through to a research article. Ah! Here we go. "Cognitive biases in software development" by a team of seven people, led by a Pajeet. This oughta be good. I'll just read the intro, I'm sure there's something deranged that shows some deeply ironic cognitive bias in this paper about cognitive biases.

Look at that. "For example, confirmation bias (tendency to pay more attention to information that agrees with our preconceptions) is demonstrated in some individuals' characterization of the COVID-19 virus as "just another flu", prompting them to engage in social behavior contrary to experts' and health organizations' advice. As with this example, the occurrence of cognitive biases can cause significant impacts on society."

I eagerly await the forthcoming Covid Derangement Syndrome diagnosis. What the fuck is this Branch Covidian detour in the first paragraph of a paper about writing code? Don't believe your lying eyes that show Covid is barely different from the flu, NO! It's a mental pathology that causes you to draw logical conclusions from data. The experts agree!

It's even more funny when taking into account that it was the media and experts downplaying and calling covid "just a flu" before they flip the switch and lockdown everyone.

This has been standard procedure forever. The hospital administration will challenge the medical license of anyone trying to be a good person or speak out against shady practices. Covid is just another money making scheme that must be protected.

Im pretty sure I just caused one of my friends turned Covidian to snap his shit when I questioned his BoOsTeR status after he was sick with flu like symptoms for the third time in 6 months.

I think trying to cope with the fact that im unjabbed and as of yet 100% coof-free finally got to him.

My brothers both have come down with "a cold" in the last week; they haven't tested themselves, but the symptoms are certainly familiar. Sister in law keeps getting it despite being vaxmaxxed. Dad has a heart problem out of nowhere. Friends and family all over are showing symptoms of rapidly progressing inflammatory issues, but they're all repeating the same mantra - "it would have been worse without the booster!"

They're all prepped and ready to knuckle under for whatever renewed lockdowns and mandates might be lurking over the horizon. Questioning the efficacy of their chosen treatment risks the sort of interfamily argument that cancels Christmas for the next decade or more.

I picked a bad week to quit drinking.

Besides the older generation, I can't really see any takers for the vaccine. More articles are coming out saying that the vaccines have a negligible effect on children's immune defense against Covid. Additionally, there's the pesky factoid about negative efficacy against Covid that occurs about 2-3 months after the booster dose.
not only is the benefit/risk ratio negative for children, these vaxx wont even stop infection, you cant even cope saying you want to protect the fragile, there is literally no reason to vaxmax your kids other then being the lowest form of niggercattle to ever roam the earth.

Agreed. I don't think that the suppression of whistleblowers was done to this scale, however, because it's permeated all strata of society. Even the public is willing to engage in such suppression because they think they're helping.

Topic change, but according to Becker's Hospital Review, it looks like only about 45% of the vaccinated population bothered getting the booster since it became available to the public around August/September last year. Vermont unsurprisingly leads in its population being boosted. So it looks like my initial opinion on the second booster was wrong and that the public probably would resist a second booster dose even more, given the abysmal uptake of the first booster shots 6 months after they were first made available.

I have always wondered about the danger of helping the spike bypass your natural defenses straight into the blood stream instead of getting a slow ramp up of the spike as would happen if it entered the body naturally such as through the nose.
Your intuition is already better than all the retards who designed those injections. The reason vaxxies have been found to have similar levels of viral replication is the upper respiratory airways is because the injections do nothing to stimulate the mechanisms of immunity at play at those sites. That's the reason the injections utterly failed at preventing infection/transmission.
The hyperfocus on antibodies is driven by an extremely narrow-minded understanding of immunity as a whole. Thus the vaccines are considered successful because they lead to production of antibodies. Antibodies good. More antibodies gooder.
In simulacra and simulations, Beaudrillard talks about what he calls the precession of simulacra. It's the idea of creating a model that precedes observation of reality, and then observing reality through that model. Through that process not only do you preclude the possibility of actually observing reality, you cannot challenge the very model that obfuscates your observation.
The vaccines cannot fail because they give "immunity" as defined by the model of immunity defined by "high antibody titres". Whether that actually translates to, you know, being immune, doesn't matter. Only the simulacra matter.
Similarly the mandates are successful because they drive vaccination rates ; vax rates are used as the metric for success, the model only takes that metric into account. Whether higher vaccination rates actually translate to lower circulation of the virus doesn't matter. Only the model matters.
The technocratic delusion in a nutshell.
There have been talks about nasal spray vaccines, which would get much closer to simulating an actual infection. Haven't looked into it in a while.
edit:I wrote you're instead of your, shame on me

Some UK covid news

Heroes to zeroes https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-60917585 and they are going to have to start paying to park cars again. The NHS is now in an even worse state(morale, competance, staff levels, finances, no. of beds, etc) than it was before 2020 and it was bad then. Nobody sensible is shocked.

April 1st sees the end of free testing unless you are uber vunerable or NHS. Clown government pick April Fools Day to do it and i dont know if it is shear stupidity, or a message. Probably both.

The po-po are going to start handing out fines for the Partygates. I think there are 20 in total.

There is fuck all interest in covid now. The plebs are very easily distracted and the gov and media know exactly how to work the room after 2 years of testing and tweaking the ways they can manipulate them. I reckon the average uk pleb has about a 72hr memory capacity before the over writing starts to happen. I bet you could find alot who have forgotten about all the crookery.

Okay that's a strange one, the first uploads predate Covid by months but even in those the characters are still masked. The only explanation I can come up with is that I know masks are a lot more commonplace to see people wearing masks in asia even before Covid, but even then, iirc that's old people and sick people and not nearly 100% of the population even during flu season.

It seems to be the most bizarre accidentally prescient stylistic choice I've seen in a while, though I can't shake the feeling it's some kind of pun or cultural reference.
This is from 2017 :
To be fair that channel has always been weird.

As I was hoping, they bailed this. I think it was part of a last ditch effort from Jan/Feb that they left on the books until the last minute. It's been pulled and this kind of movement could hopefully be dead for good now. The more days go by, the more even Cuckifornians take the masks off and distance themselves from the nonsense.

so what do we know about novavax? I hear it contains spike protein as well, but synthetic/not the real thing?
so what would be the difference from mrnas?
anybody gonna take it in case mandates come back?

ps: apparently uncle bill is behind novavax as well, figures...
What is the purpose of taking a "vaccine" for a virus that mutates faster than they can come up with new vaccines? That right there rules it out for me.

The spike protein/virus mutates over time, no "vaccine" has prevented infection, so you're taking something that is outdated by the time it hits the shelf, for a virus that is different than the one they designed their product after. Novavax has been in development for what, a year now? What version of the spike protein did they base their drug off of? Probably an early version of covid that isn't even circulating anymore.

This is why they fast track all the safety testing, you know, the stuff that tells you if the pharmaceutical product is going to give you cancer or some kind of neurological problem, or God knows what else. This takes years, and covid mutates multiple times per year. Pfizer's product killed over 1200 people in the first 3 months and this is deemed an acceptable product? This is for a virus that had to have the case numbers doctored to appear more deadly than it really was, deaths (like car accidents) attributed to covid that were not covid. Then I am supposed to feel comfortable taking a product that the makers of are legally immune from damages, and to top it all off they wanted 75 years to release trial data! It took a judge to force them to give the information to the people. Sketch as fuck, no thank you, I don't care how many talking heads/politicians try to bully me to take it. Why would you roll the dice? It makes no sense.

I have never experienced a period like this. My trust and faith in those running things has been so utterly destroyed. It's going to take a herculean effort to repair that damage. Don't worry I'm not holding my breath.

Amazing. My favorite part of the article was this:

For that effort, studies in people — of omicron-targeted shots alone or in combination with the original vaccine — are underway. The National Institutes of Health recently tested monkeys and found “no significant advantage” to using a booster that targets just omicron.

I distinctly recall them saying almost a year ago that one of the big advantages of mRNA was that they'd be able to update vaccines in a matter of weeks or months to target new variants, and then going dead quiet with no news as Delta came and went, and now Omicron is the hotness. Is this article a discreet admission that their attempts to update are ineffective, and Necronomicron gives no fucks? ("But keep taking the outdated stuff we've massively overproduced! It's just as useless good!")

Novavax has been in development for what, a year now? What version of the spike protein did they base their drug off of? Probably an early version of covid that isn't even circulating anymore.

Yup. Don't have the article handy any more since I last saw it months ago, but Novavax is based off of Original Recipe Wuhan. They mentioned that when all the pharma companies were getting asked if they were updating for Delta.

Bonus Content -- Random bit of news from SCSI's corner of the data center. My dad, who's squarely in the age demographic the new booster authorization targets, and who's otherwise vaxxmaxxed, blew his top over the booster auth news today. J&J gave him chest pains for a week afterwards, and the subsequent boosters (don't know if Pfizer or Moderna), left him having off again, on again flu-like symptoms for 2 months each time. He's officially done with this covid shit and getting sick every time he tries to comply with the ever-changing goalposts. Even the actual Boomers who just want to grill are fed up.

This is very interesting:

This may be the most important finding from the Salk paper on the Spike Protein. They showed that the spike protein damaged the cells by binding ACE2. This binding disrupted ACE2’s molecular signaling to mitochondria (organelles that generate energy for cells), causing the mitochondria to become damaged and fragmented.

When you combine this with the S protein-induced selective activation of NADPH oxidase isoform 2 (NOX2) and reactive oxygen species (ROS) production that are ACE2-dependent, as well as ACE2 upregulation and induction of pro-inflammatory gene monocyte chemoattractant protein-1 (MCP-1) in endothelial cells to effectively attenuate endothelial dysfunction.

As stated in the headline, you are LITERALLY having your endothelium exposed to the EXACT SAME DAMAGE as if it had been IRRADIATED!

Delayed effects of radiation exposure have been attributed to persistent oxidative stress in tissues as a result of functional changes in mitochondria, a major source of reactive oxygen species (ROS) in cells. Although ROS are generated in mitochondria as a part of normal oxidative metabolism, enhanced ROS production could occur following damage to mitochondrial membrane and loss of mitochondrial membrane potential (MMP) as result of exposure to stressors like radiation and chemicals.

This is really wild, because in late 2020/early 2021, I was speaking with some PhD biologists about the stuff I'd dug up and compiled on the virus, and about the oxidative stress damage. They said the same exact thing; it's very similar to what you see in radiation injury (i.e. redox abnormalities, injury to the mitochondria, etc.).

Walter M. Chesnut's blog is definitely worth checking out. There's a lot of interesting speculation on COVID pathology and the pathways involved:

getting the stupid pass, literally no other reason.
cant take another neet year, I cant do shit.
I can only hope the italian rightwing coalition wins in march and scraps the thing(but that salvini is a snake and will cause problems), every form of protest has been futile and fizzled away. grassroots change is impossible without a lot of violence.

ukrainian doctors fleeing the warzone are going to be used to substitute the ones that were suspended for not taking the jab(guess it's cool taking doctors away from a warzone because nato); unjabbed teachers are going to school but cant teach because its not safe! what the fuck is this shit??
you dont ever hear from italy because we're irrelevant, but trust me, we are on australia levels of retarded, infact I think we take the cake!
ever heard of school tables with wheels?? you know, so that you can distance more easily :story: we donated that garbage to congo because we realized it was retarded(after spending a billion), if only you knew the half of it.
