I remain aghast at her repeated whaling about "FOUR HOUR FLIGHT!!!"
Chantal, who was previously obsessed with EuroBeeze, thinks a four hour flight is some egregious crime against humanity, and fat people in particular. She had no sense of distances, or how far other countries might be from Ottawa. I can't wait for someone to tell her that a French Beeze is closer to 11 hours flight if she's lucky - or that all the cheap seats in all airplanes are the same size as the one she rode to Cuba on. Or that the bathrooms in steerage class are all the same size.
She is also completely shocked that one can't simply demand a free ticket change any time she has anxiety.
I did love her meltdown over a woman just staring at her fatness with utter disgust on the plane - this led to a full momentary admission that she was the fattest person by on the plane, and the fattest person she's seen in Cuba. She was sobbing; when faced with the real world, she can't pretend she isn't a deathfat sideshow all on her own.
It's all bets on whether she leaves the room to eat at all: she's terrified of both the walk, and all of the people.
It's like someone gave a toddler money and freedom.
