I went to the Healy website looking for testimonials to make a Robyn’s aloe plant testimonial, but there are no written testimonials on their site, just videos. In fact at least on my mobile the Healy site is a mess. Under construction, ‘logo’ missing, links to information just repeat the same crap, it’s all trying to funnel you to their SM. The only real info I found was this:

Her Gofundme is proof of her lies and that she knows exactly what she did to Luna. To hide the fact that she had a horrible 3 day labour, and instead lied that she had a perfect labour… also she admitted that it was narrowed down to only a birth injury at the beginning of Luna’s diagnosis… and here she states it happened at or around conception?? Wouldn’t that be proof then that she should have been getting ultrasounds and actual check ups all along too? Thank goodness her original birth story was saved. I wonder if any of those doctors and nurses who’ve seen her are secretly following Robyn and Luna online. You search Robyn up now and the first pages are kiwi and lolcows.

Wow, I’m glad you reposted that. I’ve heard it discussed before, but it’s all complete bullshit isn’t it? I’m trying to find one sentence that might be honest in there, maybe the date of diagnosis?
Her ebegging story is all we have to go by, and it does nothing to erase my suspicion that she was forced by relatives to finally seek medical care for Luna and take her to the ER when she realized she’d get arrested for starving her to death. Robyn is full of shit.

They have to tread very carefully to avoid issues with FDA. You cannot claim that your product has medical benefits without actual data.

P.S. There is no scientific evidence to suggest that Rife machines provide any health benefits, either.

I’m not sure what you think doctors would find interesting about Robyn.

Maybe I’m just a sucker for parents with potato kids, but she was told Luna had days/weeks to live…..and then she kept living for years. It’s not unheard of for a parent to process this as their kid not being that sick or this being gods plan etc etc

The whole "client" list thing is classic MLM "fake it 'til you make it" brainwashing. Part of it is to trick potential new recruits that their future upline is really successful and that they can be too. But it's also how they try to keep people in once they're in and why they should justify being outright deceitful. In this case it's almost certainly part of their material to use the stupid machine on household plants (in addition to spouses, kids, and the family pets), and list everything under their client list. And then be encouraged to allude to having many clients and even post snippets of the client list as part of "fake it 'til you make it". "Robyn is SO successful everyone she has so many clients...just ignore that it's all members of her family, her deceased dog, and the houseplants (including the green ones not just Luna)."

Honestly, I get why more women are choosing to have home births. Aside from the expense of delivering in a hospital, lots of horror stories have come out in recent years about women who had labor induced without their consent, were drugged without their consent, or were forced to undergo necessary surgery (like a c-section or an epistomy) because the OB/GYN wanted to speed up the birth process as much as possible. There are safe options for women who want to have a home birth; Robyn is just an idiot who thought that squatting in a bathtub for three days drinking coconut water while her dippy hippy besties hung around was as good as anything.

This is what's feeding the Doula cult. I've had a few friends turn Doula and immediately they start with antivax shit and telling women to do anything to avoid birthing with the NHS.

I couldn't believe how short the course is. Maybe 2 weekends and now these women are presenting themselves as healthcare professionals, running mum and baby groups and advising women against proper medical care.

I lost a baby due to medical negligence in the NHS
and I'm quite sure I get trotted out by them as an example of why doctors are bad when the real issue was a staffing crisis that left wards unable to cope with an emergency.

But they're still a lot better placed to cope than these 5 minute doulas.

Edit: is the doula cult thread worthy? I know the crunchy parents one didn't really go anywhere.
