One thing they got right is that a Russia/Germany alliance would become the dominant power in Europe pretty quickly. Not much chances of that happening, fortunately for the anglos.
yeah but such an alliance is unthinkable as long as germany remains a vassal state of the western allies, and that isn't gonna change because they won't give it up voluntarily and they're all nuclear powers themselves so nobody can challenge them for it

Lemme tell you something, this kerfuffle proved beyond reasonable doubt: the world is out to get us.
Yeah, hi. American born and raised over here. But, my grandparents got off of the boat and I still have deep ties back in Europe. Specifically in countries that your country keeps rushing troops to the border of every time your president throws a tantrum about something that’s occurring internally in their country. Because guess what, it turns out that it’s tiresome to live next to a country that invaded Georgia, who’s independence they had previously recognized. That vassalised Belarus after putting down an internal rebellion and that has twice now invaded the Ukraine. A country that the current government of your country recognized as an independent state in 1991. A country that surges troops to the borders of the Baltic periodically.

You say that the world is out to get you but your government uses the constant threat of violence to get what it wants and every round of sanctions has come after your country attacked another country that did not aggress against yours. Frankly, the rest of us are more than a little bit tired of it and to say that the world is out to get you after all of that? That’s like a guy who beats his fourth wife asking her why she made him hit him like that.

Russia has pretty routinely violated Swedish airspace for a while now, its nothing new. Although if they did have live nukes, that would be new.
Yep, it's the nukes part that could be interesting

Normally though it's a big nothingburger and the pilots wave at each other

The time for a Russia/Germany alliance was during the tsar's days, if anything. Modern Germany is, well, owned by anglos.

But now I have a different thought. I think the current push through the MSMs is for all the NATO/globohomo country NPCs getting their own economies assraped by the effects of the sanctions being put on Russia. Sort of a "Just two more weeks to flatten the curve" type shit.
That doesn't fly though because except for Germany no NATO country has tied their energy supply to Russia.
This is globhomo blaming Russian sanctions on the effects of the COVID bullshit. Russian sanctions isn't why we've been having a 10% inflation on goods since December last year

I'm all for not letting Germany chose its own alliances. Their track record proves they can't be trusted with it, and nothing I've seen from them the last few decades has indicated anything else. Even the Russians at least used to think the same, I'm not sure about now. During German reunification the soviets were given a choice of a Germany in NATO, or one outside of it. They chose the nato option.

This is his reasoning for stickers of negative waves over here.

I decided to check profile and, wow, it is a fucking battlefield. Some of you guys were busy.

Dislikes are pretty funny, if a bit repetitive.

As for me, I would prefer it if he just voiced his opinion.
Some actual non-media coverage from the Ukrainian side, preferably backed up with something like videos or images, or anything else other than just an opinion, would be nice.

But oh well, you can't always get everything.

Remember that it's daily mail and that it's a tabloid site which are hungry for clicks and revenue, So take it with huuuuge bowl of salt.
"The Daily Mail tends to publish stories utilizing sensationalized headlines with emotionally loaded wordings such as “Woman, 63, ‘becomes PREGNANT in the mouth’ with baby squid after eating calamari”"
I'm starting to understand the motivations on the current MSM globohomo push. I saw this one on the bottom of the daily mail article:
I thought about how much fun tabloid sites like daily mail, sun, mirror and etc must be having right now, this invasion landed them a gold mine of clicks and ad revenue, remember that all these sites just want money, and that they've been pumping shit like this before this started, and they sure as hell won't stop now that they have a whole new topic to exploit.

About the planes:
"Exactly how the Russian planes were armed, there is nothing we comment on at the moment. What I want to point out is that if we had seen an increased threat to Sweden, we would have informed about this, says Air Force Chief Carl-Johan Edström.
The plane must have been on Swedish territory for about a minute. The violation took place east of Gotland."
Also, apparently this happened "early this month", does the daily mail have such bad internet that they get their news out days after this happened?

they briefly attempted that in the late 1800s, a three way alliance between germany, austria and russia was formed, but it quickly broke apart because autria and russia were constantly getting into fights over balkan politics lol
I believe Russia and Germany's (Prussia's) royal families were connected by blood at some point as well.

Yeah, hi. American born and raised over here.
Trust me, it shows. You wonderful people always see the world in black and white and never even consider there may be more than one side to a story.

Real funny hearing that from an American.
Because guess what, it turns out that it’s tiresome to live next to a country that invaded Georgia
Shouldn't have started shelling South Ossetia.
That vassalised Belarus after putting down an internal rebellion
Yeah, that sucks. I really feel for the Belarussians - but that's what mutual defense pacts are for. Lukashenko cried wolf, Putin bailed him out.
and that has twice now invaded the Ukraine
Should't have toppled their legitimate government in a US-sponsored coup.
A country that surges troops to the borders of the Baltic periodically.
Works both ways, the Baltics are holding annual NATO excercises and the entire alliance comes to camp on Russia's border.
You say that the world is out to get you but your government uses the constant threat of violence to get what it wants.
Once again, funny to hear that from an American. You really are unconscious of the beam in your eye while pointing out the mote in mine.

Don't get me wrong, Russia's foreign policy and constant sabre-rattling is counterproductive, retarded and I do not agree with it - but it did not come from nowhere. Russia's actions are not coming from Saturday morning cartoon villain desire to do evil for evil's sake.

It's too painful for him remembering all the brave men he left to their fate.

Either way this goes, it will be a beauty to see the Seethe and Copium, Russia wins this Redditors will Seethe, Russia loses or this ends up being a strategic disappointment, the Rightful Russian Clay people will probably Seethe so hard they'll delete their accounts.
or you forget the most likeliest of outcome, Russia takes some land, holds it for a few years ala Syria and during that time the copium and internet slapfights begin of: "see? Russia stronk! we take land (that's a consolation prize compared to what we gave up for it), we never meant to take Kiev, honest! tactical retreats!" vs "Russia BTFO! Slava Ukraini! so what if we lost land and Ukraine will become destitute and an even worse hellhole than it was before? this is what victory is like for us! you could take 99% of our land, but if we still have 1% it means you looooose!"

god, it'll be insufferable. things are already looking like they might be slowing down atm, and at the moment the slapfights outnumber the actually interesting new developments is when I leave you poor fools for good.

There's an analogy about American involvement in Europe somewhere in that last paragraph....

Thread is slow so I'm going to do a poll of sorts.

Putin puts in you charge of the Russian Military, you can only do three major changes to how it runs and what it spends its budget on to make it a truly effective fighting force that could put up a half decent fight against all of the European armies combined like Russia thinks it can instead of struggling against a single former, dirt poor, satellite state.
