I hate the "day X of posting Y" and "...until Z joins reddit" posts. They just clutter up the sub for no useful information. Posting Rushia stuff just brings it to the next level of uselessness. I wonder if they'll start banning rushia stuff there, since she is officially and fully no longer part of hololive.

They literally have a couple native EN speakers in the city with Calli and IRyS that they can ask for decent titles and suggestions. Calli was even in the concert! Even if she isn't great at JP and can't provide perfect translations, at a minimum she can sanity check and tell them that it makes no sense at all, like this one, and figure out something better. I'm always surprised that JP companies don't just hire someone (even if not full time, a translation contractor would probably be fine) to verify that their EN sounds reasonable, especially when they have many native speakers on staff and many others who are very proficient (Kiara, many in ID, etc). As others said though, just using EN is rule of cool I guess and they don't care much if it makes sense to actual EN speakers.

Doesn't matter to me, I'm auto banned from EN fancords because I have an account in the HOLO pirate cords lol. I just wish timezones weren't a thing because its still the 31st in a lot of the world so it loses some punch.

Aprils fools is a really bizarre time, some things are absolute class and do get a good laugh out of me and then you things that are clearly a joke but you wish so hard they were real. I'm looking at you various game companies... Also I do find that the japs do take April fools to the next level, they just love it so much.

Yea big reason is Japan lacks holidays, especially ones purely designed around "fun", so the companies/people that participate take it as far as possible without hurting someone. Same with Halloween. I mean, Yakuza 7 was literally born out of an April Fool's joke.

Huh? I'm on the holo pirates discord and still on many of the other holoEN discords as well. Never been a problem that I've seen.

I was wondering what happened, that's so retarded..but then again, twitter. It's funny too because people were more in an uproar over their validation system and NOT actually punishing people who get reported or it takes months. One day people will get these platforms right.
