About 35% with YouTube taking 30%. The person sees about 35% of their earnings and that doesn't include tax. Someone here worked out that Kiara only seen about $190K of her $1m in SCs which is absolutely brutal.

As Japanese companies with better tax deductibles, Cover and AnyColor actually see more of their EN talents' donations than they themselves do, which does rub me the wrong way but I guess it's the trade-off for being there in the first place.

Is Niji an MCN? I've never bothered to look, but Noctyx were opening Monetisation within the first week too.

Don't know if there's been any detailed mention of specific cuts, but I've heard anywhere between 30-40% for the talent. What apparently tends to be more of a money maker is merch and voice packs since they get a much better cut (presumably due to not having to pay YT fees). It's allegedly why Mayuzumi Kai doesn't really bother with SCs unless to fuck with top lists, yet manages to give a bunch of money to a charity, he makes that much off of voice packs.

As far as that top list, damn, from the looks of it Luxiem alone made more than HoloEN combined. Don't fuck with fujos I guess, especially the bugman ones. Kinda makes me wonder just how much effect a HolostarsEN would have, given Holo's 360 moonwalk out of China.

i mean the biggest aspect she hesitates as we know probably a language barrier, or even different culture what keep make her afraid to jump in. feeling it would be impolite as junior to approach their senpai, i mean heck many JP culture that been exposed to mainstream knew like there rule to a certain thing, being polite and all, and seniority stuff. Also Timezone playing a part on this, when JP usually streams during Ame rest time i guess as seen as the Ame Schedule below

what I'm still disappointed it seems Watson still/gets held back what she wanted to do by management, idk it just my assumption, since there a lot of her stuff I'm waiting on but it never happened, it's probably because she getting busier with bigger stuff, or she doesn't feel it, or even not getting approval by management

just in, Ollie getting high cholesterol just by eating a bit more than usual of "chicken skin" and Reine also get cholesterol just by eating meat if its a bit too much

I imagine Memberships are a big moneymaker too. Even if YouTube and Hololive take a cut. Though I vaguely remember maybe Coco or someone else saying that the cut Hololive takes is smaller for Memberships than Superchats. But even if someone has 3k members (Which I imagine even the members at the bottom of the totem pole have), that's 15.000~$, granted this is subject to regional pricing so let's say 10.000$. But I think it's safe to assume people like Gura, Pekora, etc have around 10.000 members, but it's hard to put a number on it since the closest way to guestimate is when there's a poll, which usually has a lot more user input than liking a post or video.

Even it's "only" $190K. Do that for two or three years, and you can pretty much go in to early retirement if you live modestly, and if you invest that with a 10% yearly return.

There's the things Coco talked about when she received her first paycheck.
Moona has however also mentioned it when talking about her tax situation, and that pretty much confirmed the 50% post-YT cut.

I did some quick calculations for Coco, which received $3 million in superchats, and after JP taxes she earned minimum $600K, but probably more, because I assumed it was all in one year.

But even with that big cut, it doesn't just go into some bigwigs pockets. All in Hololive get a base salary, which the cut helps pay for, and Coco said as much. Then it also pays for models, 3D and a bunch more. So it's not just greed.

A proper comparison would have to be to compare it to the costs indies have to pay out of pocket. The Kson model for example cost in the region of $100K. Sure she could have gotten away with less, but quality goes down with it.

With @Godzilla1984 archive I have put both the Phase Connect Postal collab along with the movie. The timing may be a little off due to chaotic nature of the collab.

I put the audio through the ringer and I compressed/limited the hell out of it, as well as ducked the audio in the movie so the girls riffing is the priority.
