General Discussion for Virtual Youtubers / Vtubers / Chuubas - it's okay to be a simp for 2D, just don't thirstpost.

Apparently ID Gen 2, or at least Reine now, got their Smoll version,

if EN got Walfiee, the ID got KeenBiscuit for the model
I'm glad they went for KeenBiscuit instead of Walfiee. Obviously still the same idea, but doesn't feel like a me too deal.

Wonder when we can expect some VRChat streams?

Also, come say hi to your grandmatori

EDIT: Hololive link to Illuminati confirmed

Gura, your parole officer is going to be pissed if you keep getting into trouble...

Goddammit, you dum shork.

Streams regularly, streams often, seems to do every single collab that happens. Even on top of having more streams than anyone else, she's often collabing on other people's channels without her own pov too.

She probably even rejects some requests for collabs from JP. I'm sure Miko must have asked given her...tastes
Miko is actually pretty shy, so maybe not. I think it just comes down to a mixture of the language barrier and being shy, tbh. Most of the talents are introverts and kinda intimidated by their senpais.

Please consider watching NJPW and join us over at the Wrestling thread sometime
What do you do on there? I mean, I do watch some NJPW and Impact, but I didn't really feel like I've watched enough recently to really warrant being on that thread, plus I admittedly figured it'd be some AEW tribalfagging.

Also, new Chocosanji

She's gone on record saying she always accepts any invitation unless she absolutely can't because of prior engagements. Some of the Collabs she's done with Roboco were incredibly short notice where Roboco would message her the day before asking if she wanted to play APEX or whatever.

Edit: Now that I think about it though, she has mentioned playing with members off-stream like Aqua. So I guess as long as she's mingling with them that's the most important thing.

I wish she wasn't so averse to getting in touch with Japanese members.
By her own admission, she's averse to working with her own gen mates. She thinks she brings nothing to collabs - especially one on one collabs. Before their off-collab, Ina and Ame went over 8 months without collabing together because of Ame's mindset and Ina's not liking to bother others.

He's been sperging on LoL and I don't think he can turn SCs on for that game. Could be wrong. Could just be that people aren't interested in him playing LoL as much.
He is playing elden ring(no SC) and the dude doesn't really bait superchat. Also i think his fans blows everything in his album. Do your reps nijifag.

Nijisanji JP doesn't really get a lot of superchat daily but they do blow their money on event stream BDAY/3D debut

I imagine Memberships are a big moneymaker too. Even if YouTube and Hololive take a cut. Though I vaguely remember maybe Coco or someone else saying that the cut Hololive takes is smaller for Memberships than Superchats. But even if someone has 3k members (Which I imagine even the members at the bottom of the totem pole have), that's 15.000~$, granted this is subject to regional pricing so let's say 10.000$. But I think it's safe to assume people like Gura, Pekora, etc have around 10.000 members, but it's hard to put a number on it since the closest way to guestimate is when there's a poll, which usually has a lot more user input than liking a post or video.

Example of Gura having at the very least 13k members:

Memberships and merch are where the talents make the most money, I believe. I forgot where, but I saw that Cover only took 20% of membership money. Also, with that being 6 months ago, I have to believe that's not quite accurate now. Even still, let's lowball and say Gura earns 6 dollars from every one of those 13k members. That's 65k USD every month, not including sponsorships, superchats(i mean she doesn't really get much anyway), and merch and voicepacks.

Even if Ichikara or Cover takes a sizable percentage of their talent's income, they're still living more than comfortably. From a monetary perspective, the talents have no reason to complain about the income they receive, considering that they also get a base salary.
