But they do allow civilian ownership of riflesA bigger question is, they don't allow civilian ownership of modern sporting arms so I really don't get much out of them assembling an AK beyond the "cool" factor.
Is there any movement in Russia to push for civilian ownership of rifles or I guess its not happening for a long time.
I do find it interesting that its probably better for Russia to push for it if they fear invasions from outside powers as iirc Latvia or Lithuania is now pushing for civies to be trained in owning them though Ukraine tried doing it way way too late.
