Its almost like, as soon as he got word that he knew someone with cancer, he used it to his full advantage to gather as much sympathy and benefits as he could. Why make multiple posts about this, and why do you need to leave work? What are you doing, going to the hospital and sitting by their bedside? No, your going home to simp to more e-whores and play kingdom hearts for the 1,000,000 hour.

And as a side note, how much time has chibi taken off work this year alone. He had that week long trip to florida back in february, just got back from texas, and will probably milk this for a few days off. We're not even 4 months into the year yet.

Sent that in the KH2 Discord to try and derail the autists conversation and make it about himself. As usual, just gets ignored. He even asks for them to give them serotonin for himself, not prayers for the family member.

not only will he try to milk it, until he gets specific there is no way to know how serious the situation is because he is such a pathological drama queen. it could be advanced leukemia or it could be an irregular mole biopsy.

Oh, God. It was probably something like his second cousin, once removed. If it were his mother or brother, he'd have said it and would already have been streaming "for charity", aka his next expensive hobby that lasts for 30 minutes.

Really torn up. I GUARENTEE this was what happened.

"Hey Adam, its your mom. turns out the doctor visit for your relative didn't go well, she has breast cancer. I'll give you updates but hopefully they will be able to treat it."

Adam realizes he can go home early with this info, cries to his boss, and then MAYBE text the relative. More likely just "Just heard the news hope you are ok."

then went home to BOOT UP SOME KINGDOM HEARTS! Hes gonna use the power of Mickey, Donald, and Goofy to defeat the cancer.

Man, the fact he doesn't wanna say who it is, just makes it obvious that it isn't his mom or brother, cause he'd be doing a much bigger show about it, granted probably because its people he actually somewhat cares about, but he'd be definetly depressed and not playing video games, so it makes it kinda gross that he is obviously not really affected by it but is telling EVERYONE just to get sympathy.
This dude just needs to quit his job if he keeps having so many days not working.


I wonder if he'll do something if that family member dies (which I hope does not happen, being related to Chibi is a pain on its own, I can't imagine going through cancer, best case scenario its just a scare).

Let's not forget how much he grieved a complete stranger that didn't even know he existed, I'm sure he'll show more emotion for someone he actually knew.... right?

I just watched for a few minutes, and no one has said anything. He started joking about his cat and how he needed an emote for the cat because of how much he distracts him in his streams... and no response.

Alright the weens showed up and started making things interesting. This one guy (which I hope is a troll) started talking about cancer in his family after hearing Chibi's news and Chibi has said ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to this dude, not even a "sorry to hear that", so much for empathy. Then this other guy was obviously trolling and Chibi instead of just saying "Eh its private" and dropping it when the questions got personal, he had to do a whole show about "setting boundries" and to "please respect it and leave it alone" when he could've just... you know... ignored this guy like he is ignoring the poor Cancer stories guy

To be entirely fair to Chibi this kind of stuff happens even to well-prepared streamers, sometimes shit just doesn't work the way you planned.
The difference is that good streamers can deal with technical issues without boring their audience to death. They can crack jokes while trying to fix things, bring up a different game as a plan B, or even just reschedule the stream in the worst case scenario. Keeping your stream on while sitting in complete silence watching youtube videos and completely ignoring your chat for over an hour is probably the worst way to deal with a technical issue I can think of. But then again, Cheebs is boring as fuck even with a game on-screen, so it's too optimistic of me to expect him to entertain people on his own.
