I'm a massive snob about rap so I don't usually enjoy Mori's music, but her April Fools' stuff is good. I got into the genre in the mid '80s when it was ~90% comedy novelty songs. Japan is open for everything except tourism right now, and there's no timeline for when that'll resume except some speculation it might reopen in the summer. Is this related to her saying Cover won't subsidize travel, because what the fuck.

Only Calli would even qualify for this and she already lives in Japan unless Vtubing has exceptions, as they don't fit under the generalized business visa qualifications and they would need to be able to get into Japan now too (unless the process changed during the plague.) So it's not so much Cover "refusing to", Vtubing is kind of hard to classify since I haven't really heard of "streamers" getting work Visas for Japan since they'd logically ask: "Why can't you stream from where you're at now?"

Jokes aside it's sad that her joke got mired in controversy, because it's actually really fucking good.

She did the two personalities thing and the genderbend thing and the #COEXIST-esque kidnapping thing. But she also had a plotline and a message in mind, so it wasn't just a gimmick, she could actually close it with a satisfying ending.

She made fun of herself, her antis, her fans, and elements of the rap scene in general.

The production value is off the charts for a joke. The stream assets are great. She got multiple poses for Calvin so he would look more animated. She used a voice changer, and she can also do a pretty good impression of a tryhard rapper, putting them together to create a voice that isn't just a direct pitch-shift. She probably pre-recorded the rap battle and the final MV to make it work better.

And of course the music is nice too.

I sat through the entire stream, even though I never watch Calli nor entire streams. Really a shame that Youtube shit the bed during and then twitter shit the bed after.

• Journey itself resulted in Mysta having to board four different trains. However three of them where within London's Overground and Underground system. Claimed it was extremely expensive. Naturally he was flooded with donations to cover these "extreme" fees. (At most, he had to pay £9 within London)
• Seeming cannot read the maps for either the Overground or Underground system, almost getting lost to the meet up point.
• Mysta unironically wore Techwear and budget "Sports Direct" gear to the meet up, which reaffirms my belief he is a the product of the wonderful council estate housing system.
• Nina wanted to explore quaint parts of London. Mysta, the Filipino Chav claims that "The UK has no culture but Football. Everything else is cringe."
• Despite being allergic to chocolate, ate it almost exclusively on the trip. Only time he had an actual meal was when the group ordered something in advance.
• On the first day, he went off on his own and avoided the group until his stream. Blames it on being introverted.
• Refused to show any pictures of the trip, as he feared someone would dox the location/s they visited.
• Second day, he went off on his own again to meet with an old friend. Gotta feel bad for Nina, Vox and Ike at this point.
• Intentionally got white girl wasted, so he could socialise and partake in karaoke in the evening with them. Complained about Nina's cocktail mixing skills.
• On his planned final day in London, seemingly lost his tickets and didn't know how to get a replacement.

How does this guy have the second largest viewing demographic? If he could barely handle London, what hope does he have when Niji begin to push him towards more music or other Idol oriented ventures?

I can kind of get them not wanting the official 3D Debut outside of Japan honestly. Since I'm sure they want to make it as good as possible. I'm not sure what tech they use in their studio, but I would imagine it's better than even the mocap suits (which are still great and miles better than the Index Trackers). For their Birthday and Anniversaries though? I think it's fine if they did stuff at home, but I don't think that's even in question since Kiara specifically mentions Debut.

Does it suck? Yea. But I can see where they're coming from.

If I had to wager a guess I would say that it's very likely that it's because the girls aren't technically Employees in the traditional/technical sense. They are Contractors. that distinction likely makes it much more difficult to apply for a business visa.
