Naughty America went from a standard Whatever/Month sub that gets you all their VR content, and overnight went to an aggressively monetized one where each genre had a sub of its own, but the amount of content they put out didn't change. End result was that the studio expected you to pay 3-4x as much as you were before for the same amount, and if you only had 1 sub there may have been times where you'd be spending a month's sub on jack shit. Apparently enough people cancelled to make them revert pretty fast.

For Wankz, to absolutely nobody's surprise, their only director turned out to be a sex pest. Also to nobody's surprise, women who are paid to be sexually degraded had a problem with that. The recognizability of the talent pre and post scandal is night and day; when starting out they got top earners like Lexi Belle and Riley Reid, but this happened years ago and they're still casting Literally Who's.

I don't know exactly but think about how often you see the same sluts on the same websites, meanwhile despite most of these sites being around for 5+ years most of these women only do one or two scenes with them. one PR person from the studios basically said all those big names are locked in contracts that basically only lets them on sites that are part of the porn monopoly, which most of these vr studios aren't a part of. So thats why most of these women in vr porn are close to fresh in the industry, near literal whos, it might not seem like a big deal but it creates an artificial limit on how many scenes any of these sluts might do in the VR genre, basically capping it out at around 25. not in a year mind you, but lifetime career cap. honestly 2016 was the best year for VR, they really had creative people making up the scenes, which because of the format are extremely difficult to shoot. its POV but also a static location as well, plus they had any star they could, come in to shoot. theres a reason why they remastered so many of those early scenes. there are a few studios that are working around that but those scenes aren't really that good, nor or they releasing content often.

Wankz was great too because of how out there the scenes were, getting held at gunpoint by santa, mugged by the easter bunny, enslaved by demons, fucked back to life by a necro. even without the sex part geeks would be like "wow gotta check that out". VRConk and SexLikeReal are overall pretty good, but they're clearly putting more money into it, i think SLR almost has a monopoly at this point, outside of NA which everyone just pirates out of principle, most of the other porn sites lets you watch most of their scenes with their membership.

Her Dad's a Warrant officer with the Royal Canadian Regiment (RCR) while her mother's a supply Sgt. Naturally this also meant Ames was a bit of a mascot for the RCR, you can probably guess why.
