It's gotten to the point where some of my more liberal friends aren't even mentioning Biden any more. Before hand, they were parading him around (especially because he wasn't Trump) and falling over themselves trying to justify his decisions. They've gotten real quiet especially after inflation and gas prices started hitting their wallets pretty hard.

Ive got a funny story. Used to go by a house all the time that had a Biden sign on the fence with a blurb talking shit about trump. Well yesterday I go by it and the sign is off the fence tucked in a shadowy corner where nobody can see it, no blurb in sight either.

The jobs report came out on Friday, with 431,000 jobs added, but we're still at 90% employment of what February 2020 was.

What I find weird is I didn't see any talk about the jobs report on Friday, because they're trying to spin it as a good thing, but everyone with skin in the game knows it's not the case. I've heard nothing from family or friends about things booming or raises, things "just are." I guess these are more service industry and entry level jobs with that $15/hr* caveat for the first 40 hours, then back to wagey cagey levels.

 

[The Last Stand]

The Talented Tenth is an ideology from W.E.B. DuBois, a communist. It idea is that the “top 10%” of blacks should be trained to be the leaders of black society. It is literally a Communist Oligarchy plan designed to make sure that segregation is actually enforced, because if that bottom 90% were to ever get ahold of a paycheck, his plan would fall apart.

The black population was doing fine until the first minimum wage laws were passed, as they expressly targeted black businesses that would travel across state lines to do construction work. Then union regulations also kicked in, while minimum wage laws expanded targeting all predominantly black businesses first.

Natural integration was always stymied by the government for decades. The US government didn’t “make integration happen at the barrel of a gun”, it simply forced the lower rungs to stop with Jim Crow for publicity, because the welfare plan was a much better control option.

Booker T. Washington, DuBois’ rival, had the right idea. Simply let the black population seek out their own education and training, then allow for the free market to do the rest. Eventually the lower cost of labor for the same if not higher quality work would eventually desegregate the US. This is why minimum wage laws were passed and unions were cutting deals with politicians in the northern states to keep southern black workers(the majority of the black population at the time, btw) out.

Black political issues have been, and will always be, about controlling which black people are “allowed” to have success and how they get it. The HBCU grad is boosted for this reason. Wokeness isn’t the new spoils system, it is the same rusty hatchback with a new coat of paint. Note that the Democrat party was at every step of this bullshit and that Joe Biden, executive benchwarmer extraordinaire, is old enough to have witnessed and taken part in nearly all of it.

Some jobs aren't even starting off with $15, ESPECIALLY anything remote. I've seen job postings that have people start off at $12/$13 FULL time.

Michelle Obama's parents sat on their hands while the civil rights movement happened, and openly shit on malcolm x and his virginial thugs. to the upper class race was a problem but it also meant that technically they were on top. if everything de-segregates they go from the rich beyond rich to just some colored middle class. like there are niggers who's legacies at Howard go as far back as the Bushes or Kennedys;

most of the blacks were left to struggle while the people that got rich off them just let things get worse and worse. there isn't a lot of money in civil rights after all, OTOH decades of game theory helped people realize wokeness is the new spoils system, you can guarantee a million dollar salary for the son of a 10th generation HBCU grad while getting asspats because he's helping the culture and representing the blacks at his company. People whine about wokeness, but think about how many make work jobs these admins have created for their friends. HR in general is like that, its usually the only part of companies overstaffed, as in 2 employees who's job is to onboard and hire for the dozen jobs that might open at a company in a given year. thats a literal example by the way.

you have to realize the boomer way of thinking doesn't account for stuff that isn't part of the average household, the concept of HR or bureaucracy doesn't make sense to them, nor is the idea of being able to create a job out of thin air. In a time where jobs are vanishing, the ability to create jobs just by shouting nigger tells you how much power there is in this woke cartel.

Gotta disagree, due to what an earlier poster said. What Booker T Washington accomplished was pretty amazing. Amazing not in a spectacular showy way but amazing in accomplishing the American dream. There were hundreds and thousands of black Americans who went through his school who were able to create and build a family and have the equivalent of a middle class life during that time. That ultimately is the American dream, and Booker T empowered black people to have a middle class life when people actually were racist. Unfortunately he died way too early. I think black people/culture looks incredibly different if Booker T survives and is a founding member of the NAACP instead of W.E.B. de Bois. His talented 10th is the bane of black people in America.

I would love to see him run for NC gov although he would probably not win the Democrat-heavy counties, which are the ones with major cities. He definitely could be a VP option.
