Jokes aside it's sad that her joke got mired in controversy, because it's actually really fucking good.

She did the two personalities thing and the genderbend thing and the #COEXIST-esque kidnapping thing. But she also had a plotline and a message in mind, so it wasn't just a gimmick, she could actually close it with a satisfying ending.

She made fun of herself, her antis, her fans, and elements of the rap scene in general.

The production value is off the charts for a joke. The stream assets are great. She got multiple poses for Calvin so he would look more animated. She used a voice changer, and she can also do a pretty good impression of a tryhard rapper, putting them together to create a voice that isn't just a direct pitch-shift. She probably pre-recorded the rap battle and the final MV to make it work better.

And of course the music is nice too.

I sat through the entire stream, even though I never watch Calli nor entire streams. Really a shame that Youtube shit the bed during and then twitter shit the bed after.

After six months of using twitter a lot and getting banned and now seeing the entirety of the is DDK/CM raycist debate in the past few days confirms to me that Twitter is nothing more than a bunch of lunatics yelling at each other until they achieve the "purity" they need. Whilst I understand a vast majority of you don't watch male NIJI talent, did any of you happen to listen to Mysta's overview of his trip/offline collaboration with Nina, Vox and Ike? I knew the guy was unhinged and inept, but I didn't foresee it going to such levels of borderline lunacy. The bit that gripes me is that I think after debut, they just let them do whatever with their 3D's. Ame will be in her element and everything. But the 3D debut HAS to be done their way first, which is nuts to me.

They probably have specific contractual obligations with the 3d model creators on how their work is to be promoted and what quality level is acceptable, these rules were probably around since Roboco joined, whose creator is known to be a bit of a control freak about it.
