Required Threads for New Members - What threads should new fags lurk first?

I think I second that the "Nice Guy" thread is a pretty good recommendation for new users.

It's pretty normie but with in the first 50 or so pages really shows what is and is not tolerated in terms of basic KF etiquette.

(User slightly PLs > Gets warned by others not to do that > Ignores and continues PL'ing > More warnings > Fucks around and finds out)

Aside from the already mentioned Shmorky thread (mandatory if you were ever exposed to him before kf) I suggest the Terry Davis thread for an example of a wholesome, fascinating schizo with minimal gross out content who everyone genuinely liked and fondly remembers. Rip.

I think if new users want to get a good idea of the people we laugh at (and that it's not just attacking random harmless people), my favorites are:

Louis gagliardi: 38y old man who leeches off his mother and lies for money. Pretends to be minorities for cash and even used his dying cat for the scam instead of giving it medical care. Also has two confirmed cases of attacking women.

Alyssa/kindkinster: yet another one with a history of animal abuse. Leaves pets at home alone for over a week so she could go larp on a dying trans ranch. Constantly has pets die yet dog sits for money. Lies constantly and accuses everyone of being her "abuser."

Rabbie dee: another scammer though this one pretends she has a business. Uses Chinese factories to make shitty boots for an expensive price. That's bad enough, but over half the orders never get sent and no one can get a refund from her. If customers complain about spending 90 bucks and not receiving a product, she suicide baits and used a fake character to pretend she's just uWu too sick (while still shilling her product to new victims.)

Stephanie cig...however you spell her name: refuses to work. Attacks her parents. Masturbates over serial killers while pretending their ghosts are totes real and in love with her. Pretends to be a social justice fighter while proudly boasting about how hot Jeffrey dahmers crimes were.

His story makes me think and feel depressed about the US’s lack of mental health care. Maybe it could have saved Terry we’ll never know.

The SRS/GRS surgeons thread. The gore will desensitize people to most things on this site and the flippant attitude towards quack butchers is a good example of how this forum thinks.

For a funnier, laugh a minute thread there's the Richard Jones/Buffalo Bill one. It's pretty much inactive so there is no risk of falling too far behind either.

Then to round things out, Maddox and his twin lolsuits, both because he used to be e-famous and to introduce people to the lolsuit board.

I'd recommend people browse through the CWCki over watching some youtube documentary series, it's more fun that way plus it doesn't take sixty fucking hours
I'm game for another sixty, but I like listening to autistic internet shit while I work and I'm always starving for new content. I consume sixty hours of podcasts and livestreams a week. I can see where others might want a quicker alternative though.

The one where Null tells you how to give money to him.
Both the normal version and the merch version, if there is an active merch run.

I don't know or care if the podcast has a thread, Null's podcast. Technically not contained in KF anymore but it's a good way to get a guided tour of the featured posts. And it has its own subscription for media reviews.

Also:

E: Inlined more links thanks to @Safir

Another essential is the username hall of shame thread, because laughing at people who don't read the sign up disclaimer or practice good opsec is fun.

Same boat. Kinda tempted to make a thread in multimedia for interesting background noise one of these days.

The thread on that one Zhan Tiri sperg to show what you abso-fucking-lutely shouldn't do here.
Zhan Tiri thread
Came here to post this, that thread is perfection. It shows how not to make a thread, how not to be a tard, requires absolutely no foreknowledge, and is a perfect time capsule of pure content.

get cultured: Best fucked up books

the podcast thread: Mad at the Internet

  • That thread where everyone shares the fictional characters they got bonkers for as kids.
Characters you used to get a b*ner over as a kid
and another one: Villains that you consider sexy
