I'm not even shit posting I like Mori but she needs workout if she's having trouble breathing during her Birthday Concert. I recently started working out again more myself and doing around 4-5 miles 4-5 times a week to get healthier.

Suisei just signed with Toy's Factory as a singer-producer unit with Taku Inoue, Midnight Grand Orchestra. It's a smaller label but she still retains control over music she releases herself so best of both worlds.

For the others, seeing an even smaller cut of the profits probably isn't worth the added exposure. IRyS is probably still locked into her Hololive VSinger contract anyway until that's up for renewal.

Hope Cover won’t let me down and fly all HoloEN members over to Japan sometime in May or early June and make a 12 days of HoloEN 3D debut (Myth, IRyS and Council with the 12th day being a mega collab) that would be fun. Then IRyS will have her 3D “ready” to do that 3D Dokomi with Kirara. It will be downright retard if we have 2D performance on screen instead or cardboard Rys.

Uproar is pretty much Yagoo last ditch effort to show the world how Nip males are better than oversea/gaijin males when it comes to entertainment and talents.

Calli's big announcement is probably related to moving back to the US for a bit and Signing up with a record label (Since she mentioned it was the most important thing career-wise) She did mention that overall it was a good thing but some people probably wouldn't like it (meaning JP fans who might want to have her over in Japan so that she can collab with Lui and such).

Called it somewhat. Now to see if the US part becomes true or not.

Did anyone suddenly forget how the music publishing world works? I feel like Calliope signed up into a worse behemoth of an industry than even the idols.

To be honest my biggest concern with this is related to the whole copyright thing. I feel like a huge part of what makes the Hololive community great is that people will create and share fan animations, and moments using the songs and the streams. Expect anything and everything to get copyright struck and shafted.

That said im really glad for her. Really loved the live. Opening with Holostar member, which seems to be a first (correct me if I'm wrong). Would've been better for her to end with End of Life though instead of it being the penultimate one on the list.

Hm.. and so Hololive keeps winning it seems. Good news I suppose. And perhaps we might see similar achievements in the following years.

On the topic of winning and achieving, it has already been like 5-6 years since Vtubers came into the scene. We've seen many breakthroughs and spectacular stage shows. I wonder how long this trend will continue. Have we already reached a plateau? Or are we still seeing a rise? We already have three prominent Vtuber companies (if you consider Vshojo as one them anyway) and many more companies following its wake. We have massive groups of hired talents and an endless sea of indies. How long will this go on until this trend eventually becomes a fad?

In any case, I hope I get to see more of the wonders of Vtubing. And maybe get to see the end of it. Or even join the ranks.

Depends on the contract since she's signed under Mori Calliope rather than DemonDice. Because she's signed under her Vtuber persona it's likely Cover setup a more favorable contract as a result especially since their only a distributor in this case rather than say a producer. Universal Music also has Ado under their belt and she's what 19 right now? She started when she was 17 and seems to be doing fine.

Also like Ado and a lot of the other major label "hidden identity" artists/utaites, nearly all the VTuber songs at this point have been written or produced by current/ex-vocaloid producers anyway so I don't feel the usual record label producer BS would suddenly be an issue.
