Kodemage after banning a well known Magic content creator for saying the word Proxy in a post took to Twitter and to various magic aligned subs to talk shit and smack talk while touting his degree as a librarian and his lack of knowledge in copyright law.

This all came to a head when Admins reinstated a former moderator who promptly demodded kodemage and his autistic friends and said that 90% of all moderation on a sub of 500 k was done by one person (kodemage)

Proxy talks is now allowed and they are trying to reach out to moderators and members who got unfairly banned.

The magic sub was shit forever due to Kodemage, if it wasn't someone baking Magic cookies or a dumb Alter or tattoo you probably broke a rule and would get banned.

The biggest problem with reddit is the power tripping tranny mods that will ban you for basically no reason and a userbase filled with the dumbest NPCs imaginable.

It's easy to get banned from individual subs but getting a permanent site wide ban is hard. First you have to get banned for a day, then two, then five, than a week and then I think a month and then finally you'll be banned permanently. But reddit is incredibly easy to make sock accounts and evade bans. You can even use the official app to make alt accounts and continue posting even when one account is banned on the app. The only way they'll catch you is if you make it obvious. For example continuing to post with an alt in the same thread you were banned from or something.

However a perma ban will lead to all of your accounts being fully banned. That's a full on IP and device ban. Still easy to get around though.

I find reddit useful for niche hobby stuff, and I use it for research all the time. One big problem is they shove tons of gay lefty crap at you almost immediately after joining. Like r/antiwork, atheism and even antinatalist, have been sent to me through push notifications before. Disable them and they'll still show up in recommended communities and even if you block them they'll somehow just suggest things even worse. They're trying to make you go insane and it's almost impossible to ignore headlines like "White Women Are Having Less Children. That's a Good Thing."
