That was for Alix, I'm pretty sure. Though she's never seemed pretty devout to me. I feel like she's the jewish version of the suburban Asian kid who rediscovers their roots and starts screeching about cultural appropriation.
That being said, I wouldn't dog on Alix so much as I would Karen and Exulansic and their crowd about this.
Like, it's not unusual for the spergier sects of Judaism to get very gatekeepery with their identity and nitpick the conversion practices of other sects. (For both legitimate and incredibly spergy reasons.)
Where it gets dumb is when disinterested gentiles to pick a side and start taking the sperging seriously. Like if we're not talking about some ultra-liberal sect that lets people eat bacon and cheeseburgers like that, then as a gentile or non-practicing Jew, you can generally assume their conversion practices involve some significant rigor. For your everyday purposes, it's fine to consider them Jewish.
Exulansic and Karen are total shitheads for lending any legitimacy to Alix' sperging. This poor old lady invested the time and effort to convert for her husband (I think? and I don't think it was a particularly liberal or goofy congregation?), and then he trooned out on her and fucked her life up. And then, unrelated, she gave money to Karen, just because she seems to be a good person.

Ok, so about a month ago, I generated subtitles for Exulansic's videos. I finally got around to doing it for Karen's youtube channel too.
If you've ever heard Karen ramble about something or if you just want to scan all her videos for a particular topic, here you go. They're plain text files that you can open up in notepad.
I assume there's some way in windows to search a bunch of text files at once? Maybe someone can help with that if anyone needs help?
The filenames this time are
VIDEO TITLE [VIDEO_ID].srt. So for example, if you take YOU'RE ONLY A LESBIAN IF YOU LOOK LIKE ONE! [MBMX7yhvsMs].srt, if you want to go watch the original, you can make a youtube link with the video ID. The youtube link in that case would be https://youtu.be/MBMX7yhvsMs.I also keep a running archive of Karen's channel, so if anyone needs the actual video or if anything's been taken down, let me know.

In all seriousness even going by Karen's assertation that Ute was just a colleague rather than friend - who asks their colleagues for money??? They did a thanksgiving stream together and I am sure that Ute did consider Karen a friend. Karen should absolutely return the money. She took advantage of Utes story for views and it also gave Karens channel more legitimacy. The characterisation of Ute as some kind of "hackermans" doxxing everyone in her wake never fails to make me smile though lol.
